TS EAMCET Exam Day 2025: Step-by-Step Experience from Entry to Exit

The TS EAMCET is a very competitive exam for students appearing for undergraduate courses in different streams. The day of the exam can be stressful, anxiety-filled and exciting all at once, but if there is good practice and knowledge in advance, the whole experience can prove to be much simpler. It is vital that any candidate understands the process of the exam day from when you arrive to when you depart so that you can be calm and perform to the level of your capability. Here, we will take you through all of the processes involved in the exam day so that we can give you everything that you need to allow everything to go as smoothly as possible.

Introduction: Preparing for Exam Day

The secret to success on exam day is preparation and consciousness. Being fully aware of what to do when you reach the exam center, how to navigate the check-in procedure, and how to utilize your time on the exam is important. By being well prepared for each phase of the day, you can remain stress-free, maintain focus on the test, and maximize your performance.

 Exam Day Checklist:

Here is a list of items you should have on hand before we begin the detailed procedure:

Admit card

A printed copy of your TS EAMCET hall pass is the item description for the admit card

ID proof

A valid ID can be any government-issued document, such as a passport or Aadhar card.

Photographs

Images current, passport-size photo (per requirements).

Personal item

Individual ThingsA watch (optional), a water bottle, hand sanitizer, and a mask (if necessary).

Pen and pencils

Pencils and a ballpoint pen (blue or black) for rough work.

Other Documents

Bring your disability certificate and any other special requirements you may need.

Arriving at the Exam Center:

  • Time of Arrival:

Applicants are required to arrive at least 90 minutes before the reporting time of the              test. This allows you more than enough time to check-in and acclimatize in the exam room.

  • Location and Directions:

Double-check beforehand where the examination center is situated. Refer to a good mapping program or query someone who knows the place. Reaching early lessens the anxiety of receiving late instructions

  1. Entering the Exam Center:
  • Security Check:

You will undergo a tight security screening when you enter. This is to prevent any prohibited material (e.g., electronic gadgets, calculators, notes, etc.) from being brought into the examination room. Follow all instructions given by the security personnel

  • Check-in Process:

At the gate, you will be required to show your admit card and valid ID proof for verification. Ensure the two papers are properly intact and readable. If you have lost any of the necessary documents, you could be denied entry.

  • Biometric Verification:

After document verification, your fingerprints and photograph biometric data will be taken for identity authentication. It is a mandatory procedure to validate the integrity of the examination process.

  • Bag and Personal Articles:

All bags, phones, and other personal articles have to be deposited in the area outside the exam room. Only the essentials such as your admit card and ID proof are permitted in.

Entering the Exam Hall:

  • seating Arrangement:

Upon arriving at the examination center, locate your seat on the seating chart. Your seat will be indicated by your roll number, and it is very important to sit in the appropriate position so that no confusion arises.

  • Instructions displayed on the screen:

Before the exam starts, there will be an instruction screen. This will instruct you on how to move around the online exam interface, how to mark answers, and how to use time wisely. It is important that you go through all the instructions carefully before initiating the exam.

The Exam Begins:

  • Beginning of the Exam:

After seating all the candidates and making the instructions clear, the exam starts. TS EAMCET is a computer-based exam, and the exam is usually composed of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of topics such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (for Engineering) or Biology (for Medical and Agriculture).

  • Time Management:

You will be given a fixed time limit within which you must finish the exam, typically 3 hours. The questions are categorized into three sections, and you must keep an eye on time as you progress through each section. Do not spend too much time on tough questions – skip and return later if time allows.

Exam Conduct: Key Guidelines:

  • Answering Strategy:
  • Read Every Question Carefully: Carefully read the question before selecting the answer.
  • Marking Answers: In each question, you will have four options. Mark the right option and verify before moving ahead.
  • Skipping Questions: If you are not aware of the answer, mark it for review and move to the next question.
  • Technical Support:
  • If you face any technical problem (e.g., freezing of the screen or malfunction with the mouse/keyboard), put up your hand at once and wait for the assistance of the invigilator.

Wrapping Up the Exam:

  • Final Review:

Since you are nearly completing the exam, the system will permit you to go over any of the questions that you haven't answered or marked for review. Make the most of this to go through your answers.

  • Submitting the Exam:

Once you’re satisfied with your answers, click on the “Submit” button. Do not wait until the last second to submit. Always leave a few minutes for a final check.

  • Exit Process:

After you have handed over the exam, wait for the invigilators to escort you out of the hall. Move together to exit the exam hall in the right order.

After the Exam: Key Points to Remember:

  • Stay Calm:

Following the exam, make a conscious effort to remain calm and not to brood over any errors you believe you committed. It's natural that you might feel you could have performed better, but worrying won't make a difference.

  • Results:

The TS EAMCET result will be declared within a fortnight. Please make sure of the date to obtain the results and how it will be given online.
