Eligibility Criteria for TS DOST Admission 2025

Eligibility Criteria

The important things regarding the eligibility is bulleted below:

  • Must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board in MPC/BPC/CEC/MEC/HEC/Vocational. There is a requirement of minimum marks to apply.  
  • Candidates who passed in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, are eligible for admission process. 
  • B.Sc. Courses: Must have studied MPC (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) or BPC (Biology, Physics, Chemistry). Must have score at least 40% marks in the subject they want to pursue at the UG level. 
  • B.A. Courses: Open to students from any stream in Intermediate.
  • Must be an Indian citizen.
  • The registration porta will display the list of courses that a candidates is eligible to pursue.

Pre-Registration for TS DOST 2025

Before you proceed to fill the application form, it is important to finish the pre-registration process and pay the fees:

  • Go to dost.cgg.gov.in. 
  • Find the option that mentions “Candidate Registration”. 
  • Choose the board that you are qualifying Intermediate or Equivalent. 
  • Mention the TS Intermediate Hall Ticket Number 
  • Input Date of Birth 
  • All the personal information of the candidates will be generated on the screen such as name of the student, father's name and gender as well. 
  • Give the mobile number that is linked with Aadhar. OTP will be generated and sent to the number. Candidates must mention the OTP. 
  • Acknowledge and accept the declaration.
  • Navigate to Aadhar Authentication and click on it. 
  • You will find the DOST ID generated on the screen. 
  • Students must pay the necessary fees.

TS DOST ID and PIN

During registration on the DOST website (https://dost.cgg.gov.in), participants must generate relevant documents such as The TS DOST ID and PIN. When a participant registers for the first time using Aadhaar number which is integrated with a mobile number, the system sends a DOST ID and an OTP (One Time Password) to the mobile number. In the same way, after verification of the DOST ID, the system provides a distinct 6 figure PIN. This 6 figure PIN along with the DOST ID are required to sign into the application to grant admission, fill forms, select web options and further track the admission process. To access all processes concerning admission, the candidates should keep the DOST ID and PIN document securely as they require it throughout the admission processes.

Application Form for TS DOST Admission 2025

The process involved multiple steps. The step by step guide is mentioned below;

  • The application must visit the official website and dost.cgg.gov.in and log in with DOST ID and PIN. 
  • Provide personal Details (name, DOB, gender, etc.), educational details (Intermediate board, year of passing, hall ticket number, marks) address and contact information, reservation category (if applicable) and special category details (PH, NCC, Sports, etc.) or certificates. 
  • Upload scanned copies of Passport-size Photograph, Caste Certificate (if applicable), Income Certificate (if applying for fee reimbursement/EWS), Bridge course certificate (if required)
  • Applicants must mention Father's Name, Mother's Name and Blood Group. Identification marks can be asked to fill. 
  • Upload special category certificates (like PH/NCC/Sports).

After you finish signing up and paying for TS DOST 2025, the next step is the Web Options Entry. 

  1. Here, log in to the DOST website with your DOST ID and password. 
  2. Then, choose your preferred colleges and courses for your undergraduate studies. 
  3. Start with your top choice for a college and course, then pick the others in the order you prefer. This order is very important because it affects how seats are assigned.
  4.  You can select as many options as you want from different universities and colleges in Telangana. 
  5. This increases your chances of getting a seat. After submitting your choices, you can still edit, rearrange, or confirm them until the deadline. 
  6. It’s important to choose carefully because seat allocation is based on your grades, reservation categories, and the web options you submit.

 Seat Allotment for TS DOST 2025 Admission

The TS DOST 2025 seat allotment is run by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) in different phases. 

  • Candidates first register and choose their preferences online. 
  • Seats are then given based on their scores, reservation rules, and the order of their choices.
