University of Toronto

Situated in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, The institution of Toronto is a public research institution. Originally called King's College, it was established in 1827 and became the first university in Upper Canada. It changed its name to its current one in 1850 when it became a secular institution.
Most of the university's students attend the downtown St. George campus, though there are three campuses total: Scarborough, Mississauga, and St. George.
The University of Toronto is renowned for its significant movements and curricula in literary criticism and communication theory, together known as the Toronto School. It offers more than 700 undergraduate and 200 graduate programs.

University of British Columbia

Located in Kelowna and close to Vancouver, the University of British Columbia (UBC) is a public research university. It is the oldest university in British Columbia, having been founded in 1908. UBC is a public university that is consistently placed in the top 20 worldwide. There are 72,585 students enrolled at the University of British Columbia between its two campuses—11,989 in Kelowna and 58,768 in Vancouver. With an annual research budget of $759 million, the University of British Columbia supports more than 8,000 programs.
The university is the only member from Canada in the alliance of Pacific Rim Universities, a grouping of 42 top research universities in the Pacific Rim, and a member of Universitas 21, an international alliance of institutions focused on research.

McGill University

In Montreal, Quebec, Canada, there is a public research institution called McGill institution. James McGill, a Scottish trader whose bequest created the University of McGill College in 1813, founded it in 1821. Ranked among the top colleges worldwide, McGill University is among the most well-known universities in Canada. The Macdonald campus in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue and the downtown campus in Montreal are the two campuses of the university. Agricultural and environmental sciences, arts, dentistry, education, engineering, law, management, medical, music, and science are among the eleven faculties and schools that comprise the institution. McMaster University

Situated in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, McMaster University is a public research institution. Situated next to the Royal Botanical Gardens on 121 hectares of property, the main McMaster campus is close to the residential neighbourhoods of Ainslie Wood and Westdale.
The DeGroote School of Business, Engineering, Health Sciences, Humanities, Social Science, and Science are the six academic faculties run by McMaster.
Only four Canadian universities, including McMaster University, are included in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings for 2023's top 85 worldwide. 32,174 undergraduates and 5,363 graduate students make up McMaster's total student body of 37,537.

University of Alberta

Located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the University of Alberta is a public research university. Henry Marshall Tory, the university's first president, and Alexander Cameron Rutherford, the first premier of Alberta, created it in 1908.
