On March 5th, 2025, Chandigarh University Uttar Pradesh signed MOUs with 10 Top Global Indian MNCs To Transform Education. These partnerships are focused on providing students access to industry knowledge within the university’s academic programs which will ultimately aid in bridging the skills gap and equip students for future success.
This was a historic gathering as senior executives from Google, Microsoft, IBM, SAS, Rabbitt AI, Quick Heal, KPMG, PWC, NSE Academy, and Grant Thornton met to celebrate this milestone. Big CEOs, Vice Presidents from these firms, Chancellor of Chandigarh University and Rajya Sabha MP, Satnam Singh Sandhu was also in attendance to witness this phenomenal benchmark. Under this partnership, the university aims to rollout around 15 new industry-centric programs eight undergraduate and seven postgraduate in courses comprising Engineering, Business & Commerce, Computer Applications, among others.
Through these collaborations, industry leaders will provide several Business & Commerce programs. Among the total 15 courses, 8 undergraduate programs will be offered — B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (AI & ML), B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (Cloud Computing & Data Science), BBA in Fintech, BBA in Fintech with ACCA, B.Com with ACCA, BCA in Data Science, B.Tech in Civil Engineering, and B.Tech in Cyber Security with Com TIA. There will also be 7 postgraduate programs such as M.Tech in AI & ML, MCA in AI & ML, MBA in Data Science & AI, MBA in Applied Finance, MBA in Fintech, MBA in Business Analytics, MBA in Business Administration. These Courses are developed to make students ready for the Industry trends.
With this association Chandigarh University,Uttar Pradesh becomes the first University in India to join hands in a single day with ten global leaders. For the first time in Uttar Pradesh, it introduces innovative programs in fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Fintech, Cybersecurity, and more. It’s an exciting new chapter for both the university and the 21st century students, setting them up for success in a rapidly evolving world.
Chandigarh University Uttar Pradesh Curriculum will be developed by blending the practical approach of the industry with the academic faculty ensuring that the program is future-ready and matches the actual industry requirements. It aims to combine cutting-edge technology and industry standards with students achieving practical exposure with live projects approved by industry leaders. Working on this project provides students with a great deal more than just a theoretical understanding of their studies as it serves as practical training and industry exposure that is essential in this competitive job environment.
Students will have the option to work in state-of-the-art industry-sponsored R&D labs and in Centres of Excellence (CoEs), where they will get to interact with leading industry professionals. These leaders will also be crucial in making sure students find jobs after they graduate. Through these peer-learning programs, students will work jointly on real-time industry problems, thus enhancing their skills and making them industry-ready.
