IMO Results 2022-23 Overview

On January 17, 2023, the Science Olympiad Foundation announced the results of the Mathematical Olympiad. The SOF IMO 2022 results are now accessible on the official website. The IMO 2022-23 exam results for sets A, B, and C have been revealed. Students will need their roll numbers to verify the IMO 2022-23 results. For students who pass the level 1 test, the SOF lMO level 2 exam will be held on February 12, 2023.

What is IMO Results 2022-23?

Every year, the Science Olympiad Foundation hosts the International Mathematics Olympiad, a math competition for children in grades 1 - 12. It is a well-known math competition that evaluates students' mathematical knowledge and comprehension. The test has two levels-

1. Level 1: It is available to all students in Classes 1 - 12
2. Level 2: It is only open to students in Classes 3 - 12.

Participating students can test their intellectual level on a certain topic as well as their ability to answer various amounts on a school, local, zonal, and global scale. Those who plan to take the IMO test this year should start studying now because SOF administers it every year.

How to Check IMO Level 1 Results 2022-23?

Students can acquire the International Mathematical Olympiad 2022 results from their school authorities along with their Student Performance Report (SPR), or they can check the IMO results online by following the methods outlined below-

1. Go to the official website.
2. Choose the link titled IMO outcome 2022-23. (to be made accessible upon the formal announcement)
3. A new window will appear; input your roll number in the format "school code-class-section-roll number'.

IMO Level 1 Results 2022-23: Tie Breaking Criteria

If many students earn the same marks in the IMO 2022-23 results, their sectional marks will next be analyzed in order to provide them with a unique rank. Marks will be assigned in the following order-

SOF IMO Cut-off 2022-23

What is SPR?

SPR will be sent to all students in conjunction with the IMO Results 2022-23 and it is an abbreviation for Student Performance Report. It is a thorough examination of a student's performance on the IMO 2023 level 1 test. SPR will be divided into six portions. Students can assess their weak and strong points and improve on them as needed.

What after SOF IMO Results 2022-23?

Students in classes 1 and 2 will be rated according to their performance in the IMO 2023 level 1 test, while students in classes 3 through 12 should begin studying for the level 2 exam. SOF IMO Scholarships 2023

1. Each kid will receive a participation certificate as well as SPR.
2. Participants in Level 2 will get a merit certificate.
3. Level 1 champions will receive awards for courses 1 and 2.
4. The Level 2 winners will get International and zonal top honors
5. SOF would spend around Rs. 20 crores on scholarships, honors, felicitations, and presents, among other things.

IMO 2022-23 Level 2: Ranking Criteria

Students who meet any of the following criteria will be chosen to take the IMO Level 2 exam-

1. Criteria 1: Pupils from each class achieving the top 5% of their class in the first level. The marks earned in each area of the exam will be considered.
2. Criteria 2: The top 25 rank holders in each class and zone.
3. Criteria 3: Class topper from each participating school with at least 50% in SOF IMO 2023 level 1.

Note: In the event of a tie in marks or rank in the IMO Results 2022-23, the achiever's section takes precedence over mathematical reasoning, ordinary mathematics, and logical reasoning.

In the International level, 36 students (12 from each rank) will be chosen.
