What is Scholarship?

Scholarship is a form of financial aid for the students to pursue their further studies. Usually, scholarships are given to the students on the basis of multiple criteria which includes academic excellence, diversity and inclusion, athletic ability, and financial need.

Scholarship award application process is time consuming but basically it is similar for a successful scholarship application:

  1. Search scholarships:Look for scholarship programmes to apply according to your interest, qualification and field of study. Notaries for scholarship are published by government organisations, University websites and private organisations.
  2. Check eligibility criteria: Check eligibility criteria for each scholarship you are interested in applying. Eligibility criteria includes factors like nationality, academic standing, field of study, etc.
  3. Collect necessary documents:In most cases, scholarship awards need the same set of documents to be attached which includes transcripts, letters of recommendation, essays, and standardised tests. Make sure you gather all the necessary documents much before the application deadline.
  4. Fill out a competitive application:Write a competitive personal statement and other additional documents that the scholarship board you applied for might require.
  5. Deadline: Fill out the scholarship application form and all accompanying documents before the stated deadline. Make sure you have included all the required information and that all documents are easily readable.
  6. Interviews or Additional Rounds: There are some scholarship awards that require an additional round of processes such as interviews, essays and so forth before the scholarship award is announced. Be ready to defend your skills and aspirations.
  7. Apply for the study abroad program: If you won a scholarship, you need to apply for the study abroad program and make sure that you observe the necessary procedures including submitting transcripts, test scores, and other documents.
