Continuation and Renewal Policy

  • Only one merit-based scholarship will be awarded, based on the highest qualifying category.
  • The scholarship applies to the first year only.
  • To retain the scholarship in subsequent years, students must meet all continuation criteria:
  1. Minimum CGPA of 8.0
  2. 75% Attendance
  3. No Backlogs

Need-Based Scholarships at JECRC University

Who Can Apply for Financial Assistance

Even though there are no specific Need-Based scholarships offered directly by JECRC University, students who require financial assistance can apply to relevant institutions and banks for an education loan.

JECRC University provides a 5% concession to students under special categories like ward of war widows, single parent, ex-military personnel etc.

Entrance Exam-Based JECRC University Scholarships

Scholarships Based on JEE Main Scores

Students applying to the B.Tech. program are eligible for a scholarship based on their performance in JEE Mains:

  • JEE (Main) 2025 percentile: 85 to 89.9 (General category) - 15% scholarship
  • JEE (Main) 2025 percentile: 90 and above (General category) - 20% scholarship 

Scholarships Based on Other National Level Exams (if applicable)

For students applying for MBA at JECRC University, there is a scholarship eligibility based on CAT scores:

  • CAT 2024 percentile: 40 to 59.9 - 15% scholarship
  • CAT 2024 percentile: 60 and Above - 20% scholarship

Special Scholarships and Concessions 

Sibling and Alumni Scholarships

Siblings of former or current JECRC students as well as alumni are eligible for a 5% concession on annual tuition fee of all UG programmes.

Scholarships for Defense Personnel Wards

Wards of War Widows/ ex-defence personnel/para-military killed in action are eligible for a 5% concession on annual tuition fee of all UG programmes.

How to Apply for JECRC University Scholarships

Online Application Process

There is no additional application process for scholarships at JECRC University. Scholarship eligibility is considered during the admission process itself. Here are the steps to follow for this:

  • Visit the official JECRC University application portal and fill the admission application form. Scholarship eligibility is assessed during the admission procedure.
  • Prepare the required documents including academic transcripts, entrance exam scorecards (JEE Mains, CAT) and relevant certificates for scholarships under special categories.
  • Eligible students will be informed about scholarship awards during the admission process.

Important Dates to Remember

The last date of admission for UG and PG programmes at JECRC is April 30th, 2025.
