- Applicant's duty be Indian citizens.
- Applicants must be residents of Maharashtra.
- Applicants must attend Vimukta Jatis, Nomadic Tribes, or Special Backward Class.
- Students should be enrolled in the 11th and then 12th standards in Junior College.
- There is no income bound for this scholarship.
- Applicants must have scored 75% and above marks in the 10th typical examination.
- The scholarship benefit can be availed in total to the Post Matric Scholarship.

Information regarding Income Proof
If the student, maternal, or both are employed or other family members are employed, their Income Tax Return, Form no. 16, and obligation to submit a consolidated income certificate of the family's income from all sources for the previous fiscal year from the competent authority (not below the rank of Tehsildar or Naib Tehsildar).
For other students, it will be necessary to submit the combined income diploma of the family from all sources for the previous financial year from the competent authority (not below the rank of Tehsildar or Naib Tehsildar). In the case of a female candidate, if the candidate is married, the joint annual income of the husband's family is required. Suppose a married female candidate is widowed, removed, widowed, or separated from her husband and residing with her father. In that case, the legal documents of the widow, divorced or detached from her husband, must be submitted while applying according to the family revenue of the father.
