Postcard Size Photo for NEET Requirements
- An aspirant's Postcard Size Photo for NEET must be no older than September 1, 2023.
- The photograph must bear the candidate's name and the date.
- The background of the photograph must be plain white.
- The image should be clear.
- The candidate's face should cover at least 80% of the photo.
- The ears must be visible in the photograph.
- Spectacles in a candidate's photograph are acceptable.
How to Make Corrections in NEET Photograph?
If the photographs are not corrected in accordance with the NTA's guidelines. There is also the possibility that the NEET Application Form will be rejected. Aspirants will be notified via email to make specific changes. Candidates can also make changes to their applications once the authorities open the application correction window. The steps outlined below will assist candidates in making image corrections.
- Use your application number and password to log in to the NEET official portal at nta.ac.in.
- You'll see a link where you can upload your photos or signature.
- Check the photos you've uploaded.
- Press the 'submit' button.
- Candidates will receive an OTP to their registered email and phone number.
- After entering the OTP, you will receive a slip.
- Download the slip and print it for future reference.
Important Points for Postcard Size Photo for NEET
Candidates must remember the following points in order to successfully upload images in accordance with the NTA frames guidelines.
- The postcard-sized photo must not be generated by the system.
- Candidates should avoid wearing caps or goggles while taking photos.
- The photograph should not be certified.
- The image should be crystal clear, with no shadows or reflections.
- Candidates should always have at least four postcard-size photographs on hand.
- The passport photo should not be polaroid or computer-generated.
- The background of the photograph must be white, with no designs or objects.
- Candidates must have 6 or more copies of Postcard Size Photo for NEET with them for future use.
NEET Photograph Specifications
While scanning and uploading their Passport Size Photo, medical students should keep the following considerations in mind:
You must upload two different sorts of photos when completing the NEET Application: A passport-sized photograph and a postcard-sized photograph are required.
The specifications are as follows:
1. Passport Size Photograph
- Background: White
- There shouldn't be caps or goggles in the picture.
- Spectacles are permitted if a candidate is wearing it on a regular basis.
2. Postcard Size Photograph
- Size: 4-inch x 6-inch, Size – 10 kb to 100 kb

- Picture Format: JPG or JPEG only
Note: On the back of the photo, write your name, Application Form number, and Examination roll number. After verifying that the photo matches the individual who will be participating in NEET, the invigilator will take it.
3. Signature
The following are the important specifications for signature:
- Size: 4Kb to 30 Kb
- Background: White
- Signature: It has to be done with a running hand.
- Format: JPG or JPEG only

4. Left and Right Hand Fingers & Thumb Impressions
The following are the important specifications for left and right hand fingers & thumb impressions:

- Ink: Only Blue ink is acceptable for taking impressions.
