National Means–cum Merit Scholarship
The primary motive behind the National Means–cum Merit Scholarship was to encourage students to continue their studies and not become school dropouts. As per data, it was found that India has 1.5% of school dropout students, and one of the main reasons behind it was their financial status. Every student has the right to education, and so to pursue this spirit, the Government launched this scholarship scheme.
