Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana (NSKY) is a scholarship scheme launched by Government of Odisha, Labour and Employees’ State Insurance Department in collaboration with Odisha Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board. This scheme aims to improve the lives of construction workers and their families by providing financial assistance for the education of their children.

  • Renewal: Some scholarships require updated documents and other details for the scholarship to renew. As long as a student continues to eligibility for the scholarship award; it usually gets renewed.
  • Use of Funds: The scholarship award is for the use of education such as paying college / university tuition fees, buying books, hostel fees, etc. Misuse of the NCC scholarship award may lead to the discontinuation of the scholarship award.
