NEET PG 2024: Latest Updates
NEET PG 2024 Exam date has been preponed by the National Board of Education (NBE). The exam was earlier scheduled to be held on March 3, 2024, but was postponed and was scheduled for July 7, 2024. Now, the exam will be conducted on June 23, 2024 as a computer-based-test. The conducting authority has announced the dates for important events like NEET PG Application form dates, admit card details and dates, eligibility, exam pattern, syllabus, etc. The official brochure for the exam will soon be released by the concerned exam authority.
Students interested in appearing for NEET PG 2024 should register for the exam before the last date. The NEET PG 2024 registration window is expected to open in the first or second week of January 2024. Candidates should keep all the essential details and documents ready and must note that the registration process is only available online. NEET PG 2024 Eligibility Criteria
To fill out NEET PG application form, you must meet the following NBE-defined NEET PG eligibility criteria.
- Nationality: Indian citizens are eligible to apply for NEET PG 2024. Foreign Medical Graduates (Indian citizens or OCIs) who passed the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) are also eligible to apply.
- Foreign Nationals: A temporary registration from the National Medical Commission (NMC) is required upon payment of a nominal fee.
- Academic Qualification: A MBBS degree or MBBS pass certificate recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC)/ MCI is required.
- Work Experience: Candidates must have completed an internship prior to July 31, 2024 along with their MBBS degree.
- MBBS Registration Certificate: A permanent or provisional registration certificate for MBBS qualification issued by the MCI (now NMC) or the State Medical Council is required.
- Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for taking the NEET PG 2024 exam.
NEET PG 2024 Application Form
The following information is provided in relation to the NEET PG 2024 application form:
- Candidates who want to apply for NEET PG 2024 must fill out and submit an online application form.
- The NEET PG 2024 Registration started on 16th April 2024.
- Candidates must complete the application form with all of their personal and educational information.
- Candidates must upload scanned images of their photo, photo ID, signature, SMC/ MCI, and other certificates in the format specified.
- Candidates should also print out the application form for future reference.

The NEET 2024 application form can be completed using the steps outlined below:
- Navigate to nbe.edu.in and select the NEET PG 2024 tab.
- Click the 'new registration' tab and fill out the required information.
- The user ID and password will then be sent via SMS and email.
- Personal Details, Qualification Details (MBBS / Primary Medical Qualification Details, Internship Details, SMC/MCI Registration Details), Test Center Details
- Upload a recent passport-sized photograph (maximum 80 Kb in JPG/JPEG format) and signature (maximum 80 Kb in JPG/JPEG format).

NEET PG 2024 Correction Window
The correction window will allow applicants to change some information in their NEET PG 2024 application form. During the NEET PG correction window, the following information can be changed:
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Category of the Candidate
- Physical Disability Status
- EWS status
- The following details cannot be corrected in the NEET 2024 application form:
- Name of the Candidate
- Mobile Number
- Email ID
- Testing City
- Nationality

NEET PG 2024 Admit Card
The NEET PG 2024 Admit Card includes information about the test location, date, time, slot, candidate information, and instructions for the test. Candidates must attach a recent passport-size photograph to their printed admit card. On the day of the exam, you must bring a printout of your NEET PG Admit Card as well as a valid ID proof to the exam center.
How to Download the NEET PG 2024 Admit Card?

- Enter your username and password.
- The screen will display your NEET PG Admit Card.

NEET PG 2024 Exam Pattern
- The NEET PG exam pattern includes the exam mode, language, duration, total number of questions and their types, and scoring scheme.
- NEET PG 2024 will be held in computer-based mode at designated locations across the country.
- The question paper will only be available in English.
- The exam paper will contain 200 multiple-choice questions of various types.
- Candidates will have 3.5 hours to answer questions in the exam.

Marking scheme: Candidates will receive four points for each correct answer, while one point will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
NEET PG 2024 Syllabus
Candidates should be aware of the syllabus for the NEET PG exam 2024 in order to plan their preparation strategies accordingly. The NEET PG syllabus follows the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by the Medical Council of India. Many of the subjects taught in MBBS/BDS courses overlap with the NEET PG 2024 syllabus. - Some tips for using the NEET PG Demo Test:
- Because the login is a dummy window, candidates must click "Sign In" to begin the test.
- The test lasts approximately 20 minutes and includes a timer as well as all factors available in the actual test.
- The NEET PG demo test will not yield any results.
- There will be no correct answers given, so candidates will have to look them up.
Documents Required at NEET PG Exam
- Admit card for NEET PG (with a recent passport-sized photograph pasted on it)
- A valid photo ID (PAN/Aadhar/Driving License/Passport/Voter Id) is required.
- Photocopy of provisional/permanent registration with the State Medical Council/Medical Council of India
- Original screening test pass certificate on NBE letterhead issued to Indian/OCI citizens who obtained their Primary Medical Qualification outside of India.
- Candidates who have E-Aadhaar cards must ensure that their photograph is clear and matches their face at the time of the exam.
NEET PG 2023 Paper Analysis
The difficulty level of the NEET PG 2023 question paper was moderate. The majority of students reported that the question paper was very similar to the previous year's papers. The Clinical Section held a significant weightage of 60% in the question paper, and approximately 35 questions were based on images.

NEET PG 2024 Result
The NEET PG 2024 result PDF includes the candidate's roll number and marks (out of 800). Candidates who pass the NEET PG 2024 exam will be able to access their scorecards. Candidates must achieve the minimum cutoff percentile in the result to be eligible for NBE NEET PG 2024.

- The outcome will be shown on the screen.

NEET PG 2024 Counselling
NEET PG Counselling is held for approximately 26,188 MD seats, 13,649 MS seats, 1,979 PG Diploma seats, and 1326 DNB CET seats. MCC will conduct NEET PG Counselling 2024 for 50% AIQ & 100% Deemed & Central Universities, AFMS, and ESIC seats. NEET PG counselling 2024 will be conducted by the respective state authorities for 100% private universities, 85% state quota seats, and minority institutes. After each round of counselling, the NEET PG Seat Allotment Result will be released.
