NCHMCT JEE 2024 counseling involves several rounds to allocate seats in hotel management and catering technology programs to eligible candidates. Following the announcement of the NCHMCT JEE 2024 results, candidates with qualifying ranks will receive invitations to engage in the counseling process. Throughout the counseling process, candidates must complete registration, select their preferred colleges and courses, and make the necessary counseling fee payments. They will then undergo document verification to confirm their eligibility and validate their documents. Based on their ranks, candidates will be assigned seats in their chosen colleges and programs. Additional rounds of NCHMCT JEE 2024 counseling may be conducted if there are any vacant seats left to fill. NCHMCT 2024: Overview
The National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) is an independent agency of the Indian government's Ministry of Tourism. The 22 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 28 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management, 01 Public Sector Undertaking, and 30 Private Institutes of Hotel Management that are affiliated with the Council are centrally run and regulated in terms of academics for B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration, M.Sc. Hospitality Administration, and other Diploma and Certificates structured courses of study. In addition, diploma programs in key operational areas are offered by 13 Food Craft Institutes spread across the nation. All Institutes adhere to the standardized course curricula that the Council has established for various professional programs.
Candidates who were shortlisted for NCHMCT JEE 2024 received seats in 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 27 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management, 1 Public Sector Undertaking, and 29 Private Institutes of Hotel Management through centralised online counselling. Candidates are hereby informed that admission to the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Hotel Administration program is solely contingent upon a candidate's All India Rank (AIR) in the NCHMCT JEE. No separate round of interviews or group discussions was held for admissions. NCHMCT JEE cut-offs are created based on a candidate's rank and the minimum required marks.

NCHMCT JEE Counselling 2024: Important Dates for Withdrawal
The MCHMCT counselling fee of Rs 2,000 will not be refunded under any circumstance. A refund of Rs 38,000 will be given after this sum is subtracted from the total NCHMCT JEE counselling participation fee (Rs 40,000) that was paid. For NCHMCT JEE 2024 admissions, the first semester's total cost is Rs 64,700.

NCHMCT JEE Counselling 2024: Process
Step 1: Registration
- Go to http://nchm.nic.in, the NCHMCT's official website.
- Sign in using your NCHMCT JEE 2024 Application Number, Password, and Security Pin.
- After carefully reading the instructions, click "I Agree"
- Complete the NCHMCT counselling form with the necessary information.
- After picking the declaration, click on Submit.
- After you have checked all the information you have entered, click the "Confirm Registration" button.
Step 2: Choice Filling
- Pick the college and program of your choice, then fill out the form provided by the relevant authorities with your selections.
- You have to fill out the college selection form in the order specified.
- The applicant should select to modify, amend, or remove their selected options.
- Candidates must lock and submit their selections once they have completed all of the options.
- Before the deadline, lock your choice.
- Following each round of NCHMCT JEE 2024 counselling, candidates may lock their choices.
Step 3: Seat Allotment
Two rounds of mock allocation will be conducted for the qualified candidates before the final seat allocation is made. Through mock rounds, candidates will be able to fully comprehend the seat allocation process and, if necessary, make amendments prior to the commencement of the counselling round.
According to the following criteria, the relevant authority distributes seats:
- Applicants' Category (General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, etc)
- The number of seats available in the relevant authority
- All India Rank (AIR) of the applicant in the NCHMCT JEE 2024 rank list.
- Candidates' top-priority list of universities and academic institutions.

Step 4: Fee Payment
Candidates must pay the counselling fees online in order to reserve their place. Candidates won't be given seats if they don't pay within the allocated period.
Step 5: Reporting to Allotted College
After the seat allocation process is complete, the candidate must pay a participating fee for counselling of Rs. 40,000 (Rs. 38,000 for the seat acceptance fee plus Rs. 2,000 for the counselling fee), which includes a portion of the first semester fee. This fee must be paid through the HDFC payment gateway accessible on the website.

NCHMCT JEE Counselling 2024: Direct admissions to 10+2 rank holders
- Students have another option to gain admission to any Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), and in this case, they are not even required to participate in the NCHMCT JEE counselling process.
- Three seats in each IHM are set aside for top scorers in the 10+2 exams. Additionally, it has been reported that among these, one seat (each) is set aside for 10+2 exam winners from the Arts, Commerce, and Science streams.
- However, in order to be eligible for direct admission to IHMs, the student must be among the top "200 rank holders from respective streams from recognized Boards of school examination where up to 2 lakh candidates appear or 1 to 500 rank holders from Board of Examination where 2 lakh to 5 lakh candidates take the examination." The inter-se-merit from recognized School Boards of the examination "shall be at par," according to the official website.

NCHMCT JEE Counselling 2024: Reporting Centres
Candidates must physically appear for the remainder of the admissions process at the designated centers after the seat allocation process is completed online. NCHMCT JEE Counselling 2024 : Important Points to Remember
- Registration: This process is only available online. In order to be considered for the first and second rounds of NCHMCT JEE counselling 2024,, all eligible candidates must be submitted. For NCHMCT JEE counselling 2024, only the credentials they provided during the application process will be used.
- Choice FIlling: Filling out and locking your choices is a requirement for registered candidates. The first and second rounds of allocation will take into account these preferences. Candidates can lock their modified choices once more during the second round of NCHMCTJEE counselling 2024.
- Seats will be offered to qualified candidates based on their AIR, category, preferences, and seat availability during the online seat allocation process. They will have access to the seat allocation results online.
- Reporting following seat assignment and payment of fees: Those who will be assigned a seat must pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs. 20,000 online only. Candidates must go through the document verification process, which will also be conducted online, after paying the fee. No physical reporting is permitted for the payment and verification of documents. In order to participate in the third and final round of counselling, candidates do not need to pay a seat acceptance fee again if they have already paid the fee in the first or second round of counselling and a seat has been assigned. The same fees paid by a candidate in the first or second round of counselling who was not given a seat will be taken into consideration for the subsequent round of counselling.
- Candidates have the option of withdrawing from their assigned seats and requesting refunds. After receiving the necessary documents and deducting Rs. 2000, the refund of the seat allocation fee will only be processed. Only the online portal can be used for withdrawals.

NCHMCT JEE Counselling 2024: Spot Round
All reporting centers are anticipated to hold spot rounds of NCHMCT JEE counselling in 2024, and the following candidates will be qualified:
- Candidates who met the requirements but did not sign up for main counselling (absentees)
- Those who registered in round one and were given a seat in both rounds but failed to show up at the RC
- Candidates who were eligible but withdrew before the NCHM JEE 2024 spot round
- Each and every candidate who was temporarily accepted
- Candidates who are provisionally admitted in rounds one, two, or by All India Rank (spot round) must report to the assigned institution along with their documents for completing the admission requirements, an allocation letter and original testimonials with attested copies are required.
