The Chief Minister's Relief Fund and the Chief Minister's Discretionary Fund provides Nabanna Scholarships to West Bengal students. To students who have finished their Class 10 schooling. Every student wishes to continue their education after class 10th, but they are not able to do so due to financial problems. To support all of these students, the West Bengal government gives Rs. 10,000 scholarships to all eligible and selected applicants.

To be eligible for the Nabanna scholarship, students must have a 50% overall grade point average in class 12 and an annual household income of no more than INR 1,20,000. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Nabanna scholarship, a student must fulfill the following criteria:
- The state of West Bengal should be permanent residence of the students.
- Candidates must have completed their most recent exam at a recognized West Bengal university, board, or council. In addition, students must attend an accredited school in West Bengal. Individuals who have completed the Madhyamik (Class 10) test with an approximate score of at least 50% but no higher than 60% were qualified for the +2 level.
- A total score of 50% to 60%, on the aforementioned Secondary (Class 12) exam for undergraduates.
- A cumulative GPA of 50% to 53% at the graduate level.
- The student's family's total annual income should not exceed INR 1,20,000.
- During the preceding year, the candidates were not eligible for any other federal, state, or municipal government scholarships or stipends for the same program.
Application Process
Many of you are considering applying for the Nabanna Scholarship; however, please be aware that the application is only accepted online. The Nabanna scholarship form is no longer required to be downloaded offline. First, go to your Chief Minister's Relief Fund portal, complete out the online form, and submit it. The process and required steps for online application for the Nabanna Scholarship 2024 is bulleted below:
- First, go to official website, the recently launched Nabanna Scholarship Portal. At this time, you can apply for educational financial aid.
- Now, before clicking on “I Agee”, thoroughly read and follow all the instructions.
- Because this is your first application, you will need an account. Click. “I still have to register to make one”.
- Enter your phone number, confirm the OTP, select a new password, and click Sign Up.
- On the login screen, input your password, captcha code, and registered mobile number. Then click the login button.
- Fill out the Basic Details. After entering your name, father's name, birthdate, age, district, pin code, family income, email address, and other information, click the submit button.
- Complete Educational Information. Enter the following information about the education course: name of the board or university, current course, results of the most recent qualifying exam (10/12), total marks, and so forth.
- After entering your bank's name, account number, and IFSC code, click the Submit button.
- Attach a copy of the entry receipt, a recommendation/income certificate, a self-declaration, a Class 10 admit card, and a mark sheet.
- Check the information and documents you provided before hitting the submit button.
- After submitting your application, you will obtain a reference ID; make a note of it before downloading and printing the Nabanna scholarship PDF application form.

Documents Required
The West Bengal Chief Minister Relief Fund awards the Nabanna Scholarship to deserving students. The scholarship is governed by the West Bengal government to qualified candidates. Step 1: If the applicant wants to know the status of application, the applicant should go to the Chief Minister Relief Fund Portal.
Step 2: Tap on the Check Application Status. The applicant can find this option under the Applicant Service Menu.
Step 3: Provide your registered mobile number. Find the OTP, type the captcha code, and eventually tap on the submit button.
Step 4: After finishing all these procedures, you will easily track your current application status.
Nabanna Scholarship Selection Procedure
To be eligible for the Nabanna Scholarship grant, you must fulfill the following requirements:
- The candidate's selection must be on the basis of their grades or previous test results.
- The Chief Minister's Office and the CMRF Cell will offer financial help to students as per the terms of the scholarship.
- Students will obtain the scholarship funds directly into their bank accounts through Direct Bank Transfer.

Nabanna Scholarship Challenges
- Application Process is Byzantine and Convoluted. Applying for Nabanna Scholarship is a trouble. It requires a number of steps and lot of paperwork. It's acceptable that it may be overwhelming, especially for students who lack guide or needed resources.
