The MH CET Law 2023 exam date for the 5-Year LLB program has been rescheduled from April 2, 2023, to April 20, 2023. The CET Cell has also announced the third extension for the application process of MH CET Law 2023, 5-Year LLB. Those who have not yet applied can now do so until March 23, 2023. It is important for candidates to regularly check the State CET Cell's official website for updates related to the MH CET Law 5-Year LLB. 

The application window, which initially began on March 1, 2023, was extended to March 14, 2023, in the second extension instead of March 11, 2023. Aspirants who wish to take the exam can access the direct links provided below to fill out the MH CET Law 2023 application form for the 5-Year LLB program.

On March 15, 2023, the application process for MH CET Law 2023 for the 3-Year LLB program began, and it will be open until March 25, 2023. As of now, there is no notification from the conducting authority regarding any changes to the MH CET Law exam date for 3-Year LLB. The exam for MH CET Law 3-Year LLB is scheduled to take place on May 2 and May 3, 2023.

What is MH CET Law Exam?

The State CET Cell, Maharashtra conducts the MH CET Law exam, which is a state-level entrance exam for admission to law courses at various participating colleges in Maharashtra. This online exam is computer-based and has a duration of two hours, consisting of 150 multiple-choice questions. On March 15, 2023, the State CET Cell of Maharashtra released the application form for the 3-year LLB program. Candidates can fill out the application form until March 25, 2023. Moreover, the application submission date for MH CET 5-year LLB 2023 has been extended from March 14 to March 23. The application form for MH CET 5-year LLB can only be filled out online.

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for MH CET law 2023 for 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB can access the application form at cetcell.mahacet.org. However, it is crucial to provide only genuine and verifiable information while filling out the MH CET law 2023 application form. The exam officials verify all data entered by the candidate during the MH CET law 2023 counselling process, which includes document verification. Candidates who clear the document verification process are eligible for the next stage of the admission process, such as seat allotment. However, if a candidate is found manipulating any data, he/she will be disqualified.

MH CET Law Eligibility Criteria 2023

In order to be eligible for admission to five-year integrated LLB courses through MH CET Law, candidates must meet certain requirements. 

  • These include being Indian citizens and having completed the Senior Secondary School Examination, Intermediate Examination, or 12th Board Examination from a recognized educational institution under the state board or national board of education. 
  • Additionally, candidates must have obtained at least 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam. 
  • However, if they belong to the SC/ST category of Maharashtra state, the minimum required marks are 40% due to relaxation in aggregate marks. 
  • Candidates must also be at least 20 years old at the time of admission, although those belonging to the OBC, SC, ST categories of Maharashtra state may be up to 22 years old.

For the three-year LLB program, candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline. Those who are in the process of appearing for the qualifying exams during the year of application may also apply.

MH CET Law Exam Pattern 2023
