MBA in Biotechnology: Eligibility Criteria

  1. The eligibility requirements for MBA in Biotechnology are as follows:
  2. A Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology or a related field in Medicine or Engineering
  3. Candidates need to provide GMAT or GRE scores followed by group discussions and personal interviews. To get admission into Indian universities, you can also submit CAT, MAT, or XAT scores which are popular MBA entrance exams in India.
  4. If you are planning to study MBA in Biotechnology abroad, you will have to provide GMAT/GRE scores along with IELTS/TOEFL/PTE scores. Letters of Recommendation (LOR) and a Statement of Purpose (SOP) are also required.

MBA in Biotechnology: Admission Process

  1. A student must fulfill the steps outlined below in order to be admitted to an MBA program in Biotechnology.
  2. Some institutions provide direct admissions based on academic performance and entrance exam results, but they are more likely to hold GD and PI interviews.
  3. All candidates will be chosen based on how well they perform in the entrance exam and/or other rounds. The weighted average of the admission exam, GD, and PI is 55–65% and 10–20%, respectively.
  4. The Admission process is a 5-step process: Entrance Exam- Application to colleges- GD & PI- Verification-Enrollment.
