What is the MAT Exam?

Management Aptitude Test, known as MAT Exam is one of the most popular National level MBA entrance exams in India after CAT. More than 600 MBA/PGDM Colleges are accepting MAT exam 2023 Scores for MBA/PGDM Admission 2023. MAT is an easier exam and is of 2 hours duration.

MAT Registration Process 2023

The application process for the MAT is the same for all three exam modes: PBT, CBT, and IBT. The application form is filled out online. Candidates can pay INR 1,900 in exam fees and fill out the MAT application form 2022 of their preferred exam phase on the AIMA MAT exam website. Check out the steps below to apply for MAT:

Step 1: Online MAT Registration

  • Visit AIMA MAT's official website.
  • The candidate will be directed to the following page.
  • Enter your name, phone number, email address, and date of birth, as well as a password.
  • Confirm your data and press the submit button.
  • The registered mobile number will receive a one-time password (OTP).
  • To complete the MAT online registration, verify the phone number with the OTP and log in.

Step 2: Select Exam Mode, Photo, and Signature.

Fill out the MAT exam application form completely.

Select your preferred test mode (CBT, PBT, or IBT), as well as five business schools.

Upload a recent passport-sized photo as well as a scanned signature.

  • A recent passport-size color photograph is required.
  • Ascertain that the colored photograph is taken against a light colored/white background.
  • If you wear glasses, make sure your eyes are visible.

Upload Signature

  • Sign with a black ink pen on white paper and scan it.
  • Scanning only the signature area, not the entire page, is recommended.
  • Please keep in mind that this signature will appear on the Admit Card.
  • If the signature on the answer sheet does not match the signature on the answer sheet during the written test and the interview, the candidature will be cancelled.

Step 3: Selection of MAT 2023 Test Centers

  • Candidates may select up to two cities as their MAT Exam Center location.
  • Candidates must select their preferred test center from a list of nearby cities.
  • The test center will be specified on the candidate's MAT 2023 Admit Card.
  • Select 'Test City' from the drop-down menu for MAT IBT mode, as candidates can take the test from home.

  •  Before submitting the application form, the candidate can preview it and print it for their records.

Candidates can regain access to their MAT account by completing the following steps:

  • Look for the MAT 2023 login window on the official website.
  • Choose "forget password."
  • Give us your e-mail address, phone number, date of birth, and any other information we need to identify your application.

MAT Registration 2023 : Important Guidelines

  • The MAT in IBT mode is a novel exam that can be completed from the comfort of your own home. You can take two IBT 2023 December MAT tests for Rs.1150/- instead of one test for Rs.1900/-.
  • If you take the IBT MAT 2023, you will be able to select one of five management institutes to which your scores will be sent free of charge for admission.
  • If you take two IBT MAT 2023 exams, you will be able to send your results to an additional two Management Institutes in addition to the existing option of sending your scores to five Management Institutes. This means you have a total of seven Management Institutes to choose from.
  • The IBT exam is scheduled in the morning and evening on each exam date. It is possible to take one IBT mode exam or two IBT mode MAT tests.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a difference between MAT CBT, PBT, and IBT modes?

The MAT PBT (Paper-based test) is given on a single day, and test takers are given a question paper booklet and an OMR sheet at the exam center. MAT CBT is an online exam that is usually given twice a year. At the test center, candidates are given a computer system.

When will the dates for MAT 2023 registration be announced?
