LPU Counselling occurs in various phases:

Step-by-Step Counselling Process

Step 1 – Registration and Login
Visit the official website of LPU and log in by providing your LPUNEST application number and password.
If you are not an LPUNEST candidate and wish admission under direct admission, register your personal and educational details.
Step 2 – Course Selection and Choice Filling
Log in and select your desired program, stream, and specialization.
Multiple course preferences are allowed.
Save. Freeze your options before the deadline.
Step 3 – Verification and Upload of Documents
Scan and upload the following documents:
- Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
- Identity proof (Aadhaar card, passport, etc.)
- LPUNEST scorecard (if applicable)
- Passport-size photo
- LPU will verify the documents online. Original documents are kept ready for subsequent physical verification (at campus time).
Step 4 – Seat Allotment Results
As per your LPUNEST rank, eligibility, and course choice, LPU will assign a seat.
You’ll get an email or SMS, and results will also be available in your counselling dashboard.
Download the provisional allotment letter.
Step 5 – Payment of Fee and Confirmation of Admission
Pay the initial admission charge (typically ₹10,000 to ₹15,000) within the time frame for booking your seat.
The charge might vary for different programs and scholarships.
Your admission will be final once the payment is received, and further details like orientation, hostel booking, etc., will be notified.
Documents Required for LPU Counselling 2025
Keep these documents ready while filling in the counselling form and uploading them:
Academic and Identity Documents
- 10th Marksheet and Certificate
- 12th Marksheet and Certificate (if any)
- Graduation Marksheet (if the candidate is a PG candidate)
- LPUNEST Scorecard (applicable only)
- Passport-size photograph
- Aadhaar Card or Govt.-approved ID proof
Reservation and Category certificates (If applicable)
- SC/ST/OBC Certificate from the relevant authority.
- PwD (Person with Disability) Certificate
- Scholarship Income Certificate
- Domicile Certificate (if applicable)
