KEAM Exam 2024 Updates: The KEAM Application form was released on the official website of KEAM on the 27th of March 2024 along with the prospectus. The last date to apply is 19th April 2024, and the last date to submit and upload the documents is 24th April 2024. While the exam is scheduled from 1st to 9th June 2024, some significant changes have been introduced in the KEAM Exam Pattern this year. These changes will help the candidates with the exam and will speed up the overall process of result declaration and admissions.
What is the KEAM Exam?
Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM), also known as CEE Kerala is an entrance examination conducted for admission to programs in the field of Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, and Medical in KEAM Participating Colleges across Kerala state. The exam is conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE).

Admission to the participating colleges will be done based on candidates' performance in the KEAM Entrance Exam. Students who appeared in KEAM 2022 and could not qualify for the exam back then can also apply for KEAM being conducted in 2024.
KEAM Registration
KEAM Application consists of filling up the KEAM Application form made available on the official website of KEAM i.e. cee.kerala.gov.in. Interested candidates will apply for the exam by filling out the application form, uploading the required documents, processing the payment of the application fee, and then submitting the duly filled application form.
Candidates must ensure that the details filled in the application form are correct as any incorrect information may lead to the cancelation of candidature. As per the stats of KEAM Registration 2022, there were a total of 35783 male and 35959 female students who appeared in the examination.
Candidates can upload their passport-sized photograph, signature, and personal details on the window that will be available after the registration process is completed. Step 1 – Registration
- Visit the official website of KEAM i.e. cee.kerala.gov.in.
- Click on the “KEAM Registration” link and the details such as Applicant's name, DOB, Email id and Mobile number, Password, and Security code on the screen.
- After the successful registration of KEAM 2024, candidates will receive an application number of their registered email ID.
Step 2 – Fill KEAM Application Form 2024
- In this step, candidates are required to fill in every basic information such as preferred course, personal details, etc.
- Course – Candidates must select the course or courses to which they would want to take admission. They also must select the examination center from the options available in the form.
- Personal Details – Afterwards, they must enter their details such as gender, Aadhar card UID, Address, Mobile number, etc.
- Qualification Details – Enter academic/ qualification details i.e. exam status of 12th class board exam, or whether a student has applied for CEE Kerala before, etc.
- Reservation – In this section, applicants will be able to claim (if eligible) communal reservations.
- Income Details – They must enter family income details while filling out the application form.
Step 3 – Payment of Application Fee
In this step, applicants must process the payment of the application fee. Candidates belonging to the general category are required to process the payment of INR 700 as the KEAM Application Fee while candidates belonging to the SC category are required to pay INR 300 as the KEAM Registration Fee.
Step 4 – Uploading of Scanned Images
In this step, applicants must upload all the required documents such as a passport-sized photograph, signature, and left thumb impression.

- The application fee for SC candidates during the time of KEAM 2022 Registration was INR 300.
- Candidates can process the payment of the application fee through Online Payment Modes and E-challan. Through online payment, candidates can make the payment through internet banking, or credit/debit card. On successful payment, the candidate will be guided back to the home page wherein he/she will find the ‘Pay Application Fee' tab at the top turned green.
KEAM Application Form

- The application form for the exam was released on 27th March 2024 on the official website of KEAM.
- Candidates, before filling out the application form, must confirm if they stand eligible for the exam as only eligible candidates will be allowed to submit the application form.

KEAM Eligibility Criteria
The general eligibility criteria of CEE Kerala are required to be fulfilled by the aspirants seeking admission through the KEAM Exam. Below are some of the factors that students must fulfill to be eligible for the examination:
- Candidates with Indian nationality are eligible. (Candidates with OCI/ PIO or Indian Citizenship can apply for the exam.)
- Candidates' age must be at least 17 years as of 31st December 2024

KEAM Admit Card
KEAM Admit Card will be released on 20th May 2024 on the official website of KEAM. Candidates who successfully register for the exam will be able to download their respective admit cards. Below are some of the key points of the KEAM 2024 Admit Card:
- The KEAM 2024 Admit Card will be made available on the official website of CEE Kerala and candidates can download their respective admit card by logging into their account using their credentials.
- Candidates must get a printout of their admit card and take it along on the examination day.
- No soft copy will be accepted at the examination hall.
- Only blue/black ballpoint pens will be allowed in the examination hall.
