Karnataka is recognised as the country's educational hub, with a huge network of primary and secondary schools. With a large student population, the state gives numerous options for scholarships to Karnataka students. These scholarships are offered collectively by the government, subsidiary departments, and private organizations to empower and enhance individuals' educational objectives.
In an effort to aid financially underprivileged students, the Karnataka government and several private organizations have developed a number of scholarship schemes. These scholarships are only available to Karnataka-based students. These scholarships seek to empower aspiring students by removing financial barriers and allowing them to pursue their academic goals without impediment.
The Karnataka government provides numerous scholarships to students in the state. The following is a list of scholarships available to Karnataka students, along with their application deadlines.
The scholarship, which is administered by the Directorate of Minorities of the Government of Karnataka, is open to Karnataka-based graduates, postgraduates, and PhD researchers who are also members of the minority community. Selected students under this scholarship may receive financial aid of up to ₹20 lakh for up to two years to pursue higher education abroad.
This Karnataka scholarship plan is intended for Karnataka students who are SC/ST who wish to pursue master's and PhD studies overseas. The project, which is run by the Karnataka government's Social Welfare Department, provides up to 100% financial help to chosen students studying overseas.
Are you interested in pursuing a full-time PhD programme in language, seminars, sociology, science and technology, agricultural and allied sciences, technical and medical sciences, or commerce and management? If so, the Department of Backward Classes Welfare, Government of Karnataka, offers a system that can assist you in obtaining relevant research guidance. Selected scholars might win ₹5,000 per month through this scheme.
The Minority Welfare Department, Directorate of Minorities, Government of Karnataka runs this incentive initiative to assist students from the minority community. Students who passed class 10 (SSLC) and class 12 (2nd PUC) with 85% or above marks in examinations held by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board or the Department of Pre-University Education can benefit from this scholarship. The top 1000 SSLC and 2nd PUC students from the minority group can receive one-time incentives of ₹10,000 and ₹20,000, respectively.

The Directorate of Minorities, Government of Karnataka, is offering a scholarship plan to enable students from minority communities to complete their education without financial constraints. Students in Classes 1–10 who scored 50% or higher on the previous examination are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The scholarship covers the entry, tuition, and maintenance costs.
This Karnataka scholarship intends to encourage and provide financial aid to students from the state's minority communities so that they can continue their studies beyond the matriculation level. The scholarship is primarily intended for students from communities such as Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, and Jains. It typically covers the admission cost, maintenance allowance, and tuition fee. Students in Classes 11 through PhD are eligible to apply for this award.
The Karnataka government has introduced a system to provide financial help to the state's minority communities. This fellowship is open to students from the Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, and Parsi communities who want to pursue an MPhil or PhD degree.
This is a popular scholarship for students from minority populations who want to pursue a professional or technical education. The Directorate of Minorities, Government of Karnataka, grants a scholarship worth up to ₹30,000 to students who scored more than 50% in their previous exam and have an annual family income of less than ₹2.5 lakh.
This fellowship programme is run by the Department of Education, Government of Karnataka, and is open to students with a postgraduate/professional/any other degree in Social Sciences or Public Policy and 3 to 10 years of relevant work experience. Selected fellows will receive a monthly stipend of ₹70,000 for the fellowship period.

The government will provide INR 20,00,000 every year for two years to cover the scholar's tuition, living expenses, and one-way flight ticket.
The government would make a one-time payment of INR 10,000 to kids who pass the SSLC exam. Those who passed the II PUC exam with a valid score will receive a one-time payment of INR 20,000.
