Karnatak PGCET Counselling 2023
The schedule for document verification for the Karnataka PGCET 2022 exam begins on January 3, 2023. The Karnataka Examination Authority will begin the Karnataka PGCET counselling process within a month of the results being released. Candidates will be required to participate in the document verification process as the first step in the Karnataka PGCET 2022 counselling process. Candidates who are found to be eligible based on their documents are eligible to participate in the online option entry round. Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2022 - Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who meet the following Karnataka PGCET 2022 eligibility criteria for the counselling process will be considered:
- Students must have a minimum of 50% in their qualifying degree (45% in the reserved category).
- Candidates with valid GATE 2022 scores are eligible to apply, as are those who have completed and registered for the Karnataka PGCET 2022.
- Candidates' names should appear on the Karnataka PGCET 2022 merit list (the GATE and PGCET merit lists will be prepared separately). GATE 2022 qualified candidates will be given preference).
- Candidates seeking admission to M Tech/ME (Part Time) must have at least three years of work experience.

Karnataka PGCET 2022 Counselling Procedure
On the day of counselling, candidates must go through the option entry process. Candidates must register on the KEA before proceeding with the seat selection procedure.
- Candidates are assigned seats based on their rank. Candidates can add/ delete/ modify/ re-order their options in the final round of counselling.
- Candidates must select their preferred college or courses in the order of their preference.
- Candidates must pay the counselling fee in order to exercise their options.
- Candidates must bring original documents to the seat selection procedure.
Karnataka PGCET Counselling Registration
Students applying for admission must visit the help center to register according to their ranks and schedule. The exam authorities will establish help centers throughout the state to assist with all registration and counseling processes. Candidates must register using their PGECET 2022 application number and provide all of the requested information. The officials conducting Karnataka PGCET 2022 counselling will brief candidates on further counselling procedures during the registration process.

Karnataka PGCET 2022 Counselling: Physical Document Verification
Document verification for candidates who had registered for counselling was done at the helpline centers. To be eligible for option entry and seat allotment, candidates must have their original documents verified. Document verification for all disciplines is completed at the same time.
Documents Required for Counselling:
Candidates must have the following documents ready for the day of online counselling:
- SSLC/ 10th Mark Sheet
- PUC/ 12th Mark Sheet
- Qualifying Examination Mark Sheet
- Caste/ Caste Income Certificate
- Candidate's Study Certificate
- Two passport size photograph

Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2022: Generating Secret Key
After document verification, candidates are given a secret key to register and a password of their choice for logging into the online option entry portal. Candidates can use this secret key to log in, enter options, change options, save and delete options, and print allotment details.
Karnataka PGCET 2022 Counsellig Process: Display of Seat Matrix
The seat matrix is delivered to KEA prior to the start of the first round of seat allotment. After the seat matrix is published, option entry will begin. The official website publishes information about the seats available for allotment by college, course, and category. Seats are assigned in accordance with the seat matrix.
Karnataka PGCET 2022 Option Entry
Candidates who have finished their verification process are eligible to participate in the option entry process. Candidates must enroll in the course or college of their choice from the available seats. Candidates should select all disciplines at the same time. There is no restriction on the number of options that can be entered. The options saved on the server the previous day will be frozen. Only the frozen options are considered for seat allocation. Candidates are advised to print a copy of the options they have selected.
Karnataka PGCET 2022 Mock Allotment Result
The mock seat allotment for Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2022 will be held to familiarize students with the seat allotment procedure and to provide them with an idea of their seat allotment. Candidates will change/modify their choices based on the result mock allotment. Candidates should be aware that mock seat allotment will not be used to allocate seats.

The seat matrix and options entered by candidates will be considered in the seat allocation process. Seats will be assigned to candidates based on their merit and the order in which their options were entered.
Payment of Admission Fee & Reporting to Allotted College
Candidates who are allotted a seat after the first, second, or special round (if any) must go to the allotted institute in person within the specified date and time. They will be given a seat allotment letter, which candidates can access by logging into the Karnataka PGCET 2022 Counselling portal.
Karnataka PGCET 2022 Counselling - Important Tips
Candidates applying for admission through the Karnataka PGCET 2022 counselling process should keep the following considerations in mind:
- Candidates must visit the Karnataka PGCET counselling 2022 help centres only according to their rank and schedule.
- Students must bring all required documents, both original and xerox copies, to the help centers for verification.
- They are advised to fill out the options in the order of their preference. Karnataka PGCET 2022 seat allocation will be based solely on the choices made by students based on their rank and category. They should also double-check and confirm their selections before the deadline.
- Candidates who have been assigned a seat in any round should download the provisional seat allotment letter and visit the institute within the time frame specified.
- Students who do not visit the allotted institute by the deadline specified in the provisional Karnataka PGCET seat allotment letter will have their seats cancelled.
- Students who are assigned a seat in the first round but wish to participate in the second round of Karnataka PGCET 2022 counselling must first confirm their seat by paying the seat acceptance fees at the help center.
- They must submit proper certificates duly attested by prior authority in order to claim a reservation under any category.
- The income certificate must be recent and obtained from a competent authority on or after January 1, 2022.
- Applicants applying for admission using their GATE 2022 score, non-Karnataka candidates, and PwD candidates must visit the Bangalore help center for document verification.
- Candidates applying for admission based on GATE scores must apply online for the Karnataka PGCET 2022, but they do not need to appear in the entrance test.
