The Karnataka 2nd PUC Chemistry syllabus 2024-25 provides all the important details which appearing students require related to the 2nd PUC Chemistry chapters while preparing for the exam. Being an important part of 2nd PUC Board Karnataka academic plan, the syllabus provides descriptive information about the learning outcomes and assessment instructions. For the last academic session, the major chapters were Solutions, Chemical Kinetics, Coordination Compounds, Electrochemistry, The d and f block Elements, Alcohols, Aldehydes, Amines, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids, Phenols and Ethers, Haloalkanes and Haloarenes, and Biomolecules. Students are required to download the updated Karnataka 2nd PUC Chemistry Model Paper 2025 to get an understanding of the exam pattern, question paper structure, and question types for this year's examination.
Few chapters were removed from the syllabus previous year. In total six chapters were removed from the complete 16 chapters. The Chemistry Board exam paper has theory paper for 70 marks and the 30 marks is saved for practical exam. The final Karnataka 2nd PUC question paper will comprise questions based on 40% Remembering, 30% Understanding, 17% Application, and 13% HOTS. There will be 35 questions in total which will include MCQs, short answer type and long answer type questions.
