The JEE Main 2023 exam pattern has been made available by NTA at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2023. The JEE Main 2023 exam pattern is provided in the official brochure, which is available on the IIT JEE Main 2023 official website. The JEE Main 2023 exam pattern includes the total number of questions, total marks, question type, examination mode, and other details.   • In Section B, candidates have to attempt any five questions out of 10. There will be no negative marking for Section B

Changes Introduced in JEE Main B.Planning Exam Pattern

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) method will be used for the JEE Main B.Planning paper. The paper will be divided into three sections i.e; mathematics, aptitude and planning based questions. 

For Mathematics, there will be no negative marking for Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.

With the inclusion of 5 extra Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions in the Mathematics section, the total number of questions in B.Planning will be 105.

The exam duration will be 3.5 hours.

The maximum marks will be 400.

JEE Main 2023 Exam Pattern adjustments were made in response to the MHRD's statement that the CBSE class XI and XII syllabus will be reduced by 30%. However, no revisions to the JEE Main Syllabus have been notified as of yet.
