IIT Delhi MTech
The IIT Delhi MTech Course is divided into four semesters. Students who have completed their BTech degree and fulfil the requirements as per the institute can be admitted into the program. The program is offered in 43 different specialisations. The course asks students to appear for the GATE examination. Once students are done with the exam, those who make the final seat allotment after being shortlisted based on exam results must proceed via COAP counselling.
The Department of Biomolecular and Bioprocess Engineering offers a 2-year, full-time M.Tech program. The curriculum attempts to give students the practical and theoretical know-how needed to become independent researchers capable of working with contemporary biotechnology. Two-thirds of the M.Tech program's credits come from coursework, while the remaining one-third come from the thesis component.

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, also known as IIT Delhi commenced its establishment in the year 1961. The institute has been awarded as the "Institute of National Importance" and granted the status of Deemed University.

IIT Delhi MTech Admission Process
Admissions for M. Tech/Ph.D. programs typically take place in May, with advertisements for the programs appearing in the Employment News and other major publications in March each year. Additionally, October is used to promote the programs, with admissions taking place in December. Normally, the Department, through its Department Research Committee (DRC), interviews qualified individuals before admitting them to the M. Tech program. In order to further evaluate the candidates, the DRC may choose to administer a written exam.
IIT Delhi MTech Scholarship and Financial Assistance
There is a program in place for students to get financial aid in the form of Teaching/Research Assistantships. This scheme provides for the awarding of Teaching/Research Assistantships, which entail paying Rs. 12,400/-per month and requiring non-sponsored students who are accepted into full-time M.Tech programs to assist the department for eight hours per week.
Institute Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarships
The Institute provides undergraduate engineering and technology students with Merit-cum-Means scholarships. Of the students, around 25% are eligible for these scholarships. For General, OBC, and EWS students, the Merit-cum Means scholarship has a present value of D1000/-per month, and the winner is not required to pay tuition.
Institute Merit Prizes and Certificates
The top 7% of students in each 4-year B.Tech. and 5-year Dual Degree program receive Merit prizes and certificates from the Institute every semester through the eighth and tenth semesters. The merit medal is worth D2,500.
Institute for Free Studentship at U.G.
Around 10% of students are eligible for free studentships from the Institute based only on their financial situation.
Scholarships available to PwD, SC, and ST students: All SC, ST, and PwD students are eligible for tuition fee exemption, regardless of the income of their parents or guardians. The institute also provides these students with many other incentives.
Donor Scholarships: The Institute also offers many additional scholarships. The funds for these scholarships came from donations made by trusts, people, alumni, and organizations.
