The GATE Cutoffs for IIT Bombay in 2025 reflect the lowest possible scores a candidate needs to secure for consideration into the M.Tech and Ph.D programs. The cut-offs are different for each discipline and category, which includes General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PWD. The main determinants for these cut-offs are the total candidate applications, the level of exam difficulty, historical factors, seat allotment as well as the trends.

As an example, the expected cut-off for Computer Science in the General category stands around 780, and for Mechanical Engineering, it stands close to 740.
