Shortlist for the process of shortlisting for MBA batch 2025-27 at IIM Jammu is considered after a three-stage admission process explained in detail below.
- Shortlisting based on CAT scores: Based on one's CAT 2024 scores, shortlisting. Here are IIM Jammu's cut-offs:
- General candidates at 91%
- EWS, and NC-OBC candidates at 74%
- Candidates belonging to the SC community at 54%.
- 32 percentile for ST/PwD candidates Female candidates will get a relaxation of 2 percentiles in all categories.
- CAP: It has a common Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) round under the Common Admission Process (CAP). IIM Kashipur will conduct CAP for 2025 and this will include IIM Jammu, IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Nagpur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Trichy, and IIM Udaipur.
- Final Merit List: Based on their performance in CAT and the subsequent criteria of WAT-PI, etc. the candidates will have a final merit list for final admission.
The Supplementary Admission Process or SAP will also be carried out by IIM Jammu, considering candidates eligible under shortlisting but not being on the CAP cut-off list.

IIM Jammu Admission 2025-27 Final Selection and Merit List Generation
The final selection of candidates will depend on a composite score worked out based on the aforementioned parameters. Only those students who qualify in the WAT-PI round would be considered for the list of merit, which the institute is likely to declare and publish by May 2025.
Candidates who are accepted to the IIM Jammu are required to confirm acceptance by submitting an Offer Acceptance and paying an Offer Acceptance Fee of ₹50,000. When a candidate chooses to forgo admission within the deadlines specified by the institute, the Offer Acceptance Fee is refunded minus a processing charge of ₹1,000.
