IIM Amritsar has invited applications for its five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) for the 2025–30 batch. Admission to the new dual-degree program will be offered based on the candidate's performance in the IPMAT (Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test) held by IIM Indore.
The IPM program at IIM Amritsar is meant to train young, meritorious students and equip them with the skills and knowledge needed by the financial, economic, and management industries. The five-year degree program includes three years of undergraduate courses resulting in a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Finance and Economics (BSQFE) and two years of postgraduate courses resulting in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
The introduction of an exit alternative is provided early, after three years, and students can graduate with BSQFE as the degree. The course places a strong focus on quantitative techniques and their implications in finance as well as economics, and also provides wide-ranging topics of management of business to enable students to undertake leadership roles in varied disciplines.

IPMAT 2025 Eligibility Conditions
For eligibility to study the IPM course of IIM Amritsar under IPMAT 2025, the candidates need to fulfill the following requirements:
- General and NC-OBC category candidates should have at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in Class 10 and Class 12.
- SC, ST, or PwD (DA) category candidates should have obtained at least 55% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in Class 10 and Class 12.
- Candidates should have passed Class 12 or equivalent in 2023, 2024, or are appearing in 2025.
- Hesitantly, students pursuing Class 12 or waiting for results are eligible to apply.
IIM Amritsar IPM Admission Process 2025-30
Step 1: Register for IPMAT Indore 2025
- The IIM Indore released the IPMAT application form on February 14, 2025.
- Applicants needed to register for IPMAT and pay the fee by April 1, 2025.
Step 2: Register IIM Amritsar IPM
- To apply for IIM Amritsar's IPM, one should:
- Visit iimamritsar.ac.in
- Click on the 'IPM' tab and then on the 'Apply Now' button
- Provide mandatory information such as name, mobile number, gender, email, and course
- Submit and register
- Submit academic information and documents required
- Pay application fee: INR 2,000 (General/OBC) or INR 1,000 (SC/ST)
Step 3: Face IPMAT 2025
- IPMAT 2025 will be held on May 12, 2025, in computer-based mode at numerous test centers located in India.
- Shortlisted candidates must download the IPMAT admit card and present it at the exam center.
Step 4: Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI)
- Shortlisting will be done on IPMAT scores and merit.
Aptitude Test Score (ATS) is determined by the following formulae:
Quantitative Aptitude:
- 25 × (Candidate's QA Score – Minimum Score) / (Maximum Score – Minimum Score)
Quantitative Aptitude (SA):
- 25 × (Candidate's QA SA Score – Minimum Score) / (Maximum Score – Minimum Score)
Verbal Ability:
- 50 × (Candidate's VA Score – Minimum Score) / (Maximum Score – Minimum Score)
Step 5: Final Selection and Merit List
- The final selection would be done based on the composite score as given below:
- IPMAT Score: 65%
- Personal Interview (PI): 35%
- Composite Score: 100%
