The admission criteria for the 2025-2027 MBA batch at IIM Ahmedabad is the same as last year. The selection process is based on:

  • Shortlisting from CAT 2024 scores
  • Analytical Writing Test (AWT)
  • Personal Interview (PI)

CAT Cut-offs for IIM Ahmedabad

The overall qualifying CAT cut-offs are the same:

  • General Category: 80 percentile
  • NC-OBC and Transgender Categories: 75 percentile
  • SC and PwD Categories: 70 percentile
  • ST Category: 60 percentile

  • PI Shortlist Date: January 2025, post-CAT 2024 results.

IIM Ahmedabad Shortlist 2027: Check PI Status and Confirm Participation

Candidates who pass the CAT 2024 cut-off and are eligible for the IIM Ahmedabad PI round must file an online application to confirm their participation in the AWT-PI process. 

Here's how to do it:

  • Visit the IIM Ahmedabad official website.
  • Click on the ‘Admission Status’ link.
  • Enter your CAT registration number and email ID.
  • Click on ‘Go’.
  • Your PI shortlist status will be displayed.

Check your status and follow the instructions to confirm your participation in the AWT-PI round.

 

IIM Ahmedabad Admission Criteria 2025-2027

The qualifying CAT cut-off percentile for the IIM Ahmedabad had been consistent at 80 for the last four consecutive years and ensured that the admissions are also diverse by involving students with different academic backgrounds and experience in their industry.

AC-1: Medicine and Surgery based subjects

AC-2: Selected Professional Degrees

IIM Ahmedabad Selection & Admission Criteria 2025: Highlights  

  1. The marks available to an applicant who has not yet graduated would be used for computing the percentage.
  2. In case the candidates have appeared for CA, ICWA, or CS but their bachelor's degree is incomplete, then percentage shall be calculated as a simple mean of marks acquired in Intermediate and Final examination.
