IGNOU Exam Form Overview
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) holds Term-End Examinations (TEE) twice a year – in December and June. It’s mandatory for IGNOU students to appear in these exams to move ahead in their programme. Here’s a complete guide to the IGNOU exam form.
IGNOU Exam Form
Students who are pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programs through the distance education from IGNOU will have to submit an application form by April 22, 2024 to participate in TEE June 2024. In case you miss the deadline, you have until May 25, 2024 to submit the exam form by paying a late fee of ₹1100/-.
IGNOU Exam Fee June
Fee details for Term-End Examination June 2024 is disclosed officially by the Indira Gandhi National Open University. Exam individuals who enrolled for any UG, PG, Diploma or Certificate program need to pay the required amount to appear in the exam, one may check the details about it by going through the table below.
Those who will apply between 23 April and May 25, 2024, have to pay the late fee. For the students admitted till December 2022, a late fee of ₹1100/- is charged along with the regular exam fee of ₹200/- per theory course. Similarly, for students admitted from January 2023 onwards, the late fee is also ₹1100/-.
How to Fill IGNOU Exam Form 2024?
If you want to submit the application through online mode then follow the steps below:
Step 1: Open the online form submission link at www.exam.ignou.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the “Link for Term End Examination form Submission“.
Step 3: Read the instructions, check the box and click on the blue button
Step 4: Enter the Enrollment number and Date of birth.
Step 5: Select your Regional Center.
Step 6: Click on Submit after filling all the above details.
Step 7: Fill the complete application form by selecting the Centre Code
Step 8: Enter the details like Birthdate, Gender and courses in which you want to appear in the exam
Step 9: Now, click on the option “Assignment submitted or not an option” and select “Yes”. Click on Submit.
Step 10: Now, pay the exam fee as per your convenient payment method. Payment Method: Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking, IGNOU Exam Fee Per Course: INR 200.
Documents Required for IGNOU Exam Form
- The students must submit the correct exam form along with it. They also have to submit some important documents that are mentioned below.
- The applicants must know the enrollment number that is mentioned on their ID cards.
- They must know their course code, and the course code can be checked on the ID cards.
- They must have the e-mail ID that is filled on the IGNOU Exam form.
How to Check IGNOU Exam Form Status
IGNOU Exam Form Status 2024 students who have filled the examination form online will be able to see the form status live within 72 Hours. Students can access the exam portal of the University. Students who missed the chance to fill the form will not be eligible to appear in TEE June 2024 of IGNOU. In simple words it’s a process to check whether the University has received the fee submitted by you.
Follow the below steps to check IGNOU exam form status online:
- Step 1: Go to exam.ignou.ac.in/search.asp of IGNOU acknowledgement slip for online examination form.
- Step 2: Enter your “Enrollment Number” and “Date of Birth”
- Step 3: Click Submit

IGNOU Exam Hall Ticket
IGNOU will release the hall ticket 7-10 days before the June Term End Examination. It’s a must to carry even to the exam hall. So, students are requested to download the hall ticket from IGNOU University web portal. Once the IGNOU hall ticket is issued, you cannot add any other course.
After submitting the exam form, IGNOU will release the admit card. On IGNOU admit card, you will find where you will sit for the exam. Hall ticket is required to enter the exam hall. Without a ticket, you cannot give the exam.
IGNOU Exam Centres
While filling the examination form, candidates will be given an option to choose the IGNOU exam centre of their choice. It must be noted that the university reserves the right to make the final decision. There are about a total of 831 IGNOU exam centres, including 59 in jails for inmates. The candidates will receive the admit card or hall ticket a week before the commencement of the exam. The admit card will contain the guidelines and details regarding the IGNOU exam centre 2024.
How to select the IGNOU Exam Centre
Step 1. Visit the official IGNOU website - ignou.ac.in.
Step 2. Click on the “Online submission of examination form for June 2024 TEE” tab.
Step 3. Next, press the “Click here” to check the IGNOU examination centres.
Step 4. Choose the region and city/state. Click the ‘submit’ tab.
Step 5. Your examination centre will appear on the computer screen.
Important Instructions to Fill IGNOU Exam Form
- Read the IGNOU exam form first then fill the details asked in the form.
- You can select the exam centre so fill the exam centre code carefully.
- Exam centre will be allotted on first come first basis so fill the IGNOU exam form as soon as possible before the deadline and IGNOU exam form for June 2024 last date is 25 May 2024.
- Once all the points are filled, recheck all the information before paying the exam form fee to avoid any problem in seat allotment for the examination.
- Applicant will pay the exam form fee only once. If anyone pays the exam form fee twice by different payment modes than that fee will not be refunded.
- After paying the exam fee the applicant will check the IGNOU exam form status within 72 hours.
- IGNOU will announce that the university has not yet released the results for certain courses so applicants in their second or final year who are awaiting the results should fill the IGNOU exam form for June 2024 without uploading the results. This is only for those students whose results have not been released by the university.
