IBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2023 - The IBSAT (Indian Business Schools Aptitude Test) is a standardized test conducted by ICFAI Business School for admissions to MBA/PGPM programs. The eligibility criteria for IBSAT 2023 which the candidates have to fulfill are as follows:

IBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2023: Academic qualification

The academic qualifications which are required for the candidates appearing for IBSAT Exam 2023 are as follows:

  • Candidates must have a graduate degree from a recognized university/institute with a minimum of 50% marks. Moreover, graduates in the final year of their degree are also eligible to apply, provided they produce proof of passing their final exams by May 31, 2023.
  • Qualifying entrance exams: Candidates who have taken any of the following qualifying entrance exams are eligible to apply for IBSAT:
  1. CAT
  2. GMAT
  3. XAT
  • Candidates must have completed a minimum of 15 years of education (on a 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis).

IBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2023: Age Limit

Candidates who wish to appear for the IBSAT Exam 2023 must fulfill the following age limit criteria:

  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Maximum age: 25 years
  • A relaxation of 5 years is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Candidates of all nationalities are eligible to apply for the IBSAT exam.

The English proficiency requirement is only for the IBSAT exam. If applicants are applying for admission to an IBS program, they may also be required to meet additional English proficiency requirements as specified by the program. Here are the English proficiency requirements for IBSAT 2023:

  • Graduates in English medium: Candidates who have studied in English medium throughout their formal education are not required to submit any English proficiency test scores.
  • Graduates in other media: Candidates who have not studied in English medium throughout their formal education must submit a valid score of one of the following English proficiency tests:
  1. TOEFL (iBT): Minimum score of 79
  2. IELTS (Academic): Minimum score of 6.5
  3. NELT: Minimum score of 75
  • Medium of Instruction: The medium of instruction at IBS is English. Therefore, candidates must be proficient in English.
