IBS Selection Process for MBA/ PGDM Programs

Hyderabad, February 8, 2024: ICFAI Business School (IBS) prepares to conduct Group Discussion and Personal Interview sessions at its Hyderabad campus as part of the MBA/PGPM program selection process.

Following the successful administration of the IBSAT2023 on December 23rd and 24th, 2023, prospective applicants who qualified for the test will now proceed to the next stage: the rigorous Selection Process. To prepare candidates for this critical phase, ICFAI Business School (IBS) held Selection Briefings in over 70 cities across India, ensuring that aspirants were well-informed and prepared for the upcoming selection process.

The Selection Process, which is scheduled to take place from February 10th to February 18th, 2024, will include both Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI). Applicants who passed the IBSAT2023 are encouraged to reserve their preferred date and time slot for the GD and PI rounds, which will be held exclusively at the IBS Hyderabad campus. Applicants who are exempt from IBSAT due to their CAT, GMATâ„¢, XAT, or NMAT by GMACâ„¢ scores are also granted the same privilege.

Participation in the selection process is the sole requirement for admission to any of the esteemed IBS campuses. Prospective students and their parents gain invaluable insights into the IBS academic ethos, infrastructure, and faculty expertise through direct engagement with Campus Directors and senior faculty members during seminars and briefings.

The Personal Interview segment provides a platform for face-to-face interaction, allowing assessors to thoroughly evaluate candidates. Aside from academic ability, attributes such as personality, presentation skills, communication prowess, mental presence, body language, confidence, and attitude are evaluated to ensure that they meet the multifaceted demands of MBA/PGPM education.

Similarly, the Group Discussion segment serves as a crucible in which candidates are evaluated on a variety of criteria, including subject knowledge, academic record, and leadership ability. The GD creates an environment conducive to demonstrating candidates' analytical and interpersonal skills, resulting in a competitive yet collaborative atmosphere.

Notably, ICFAI Business School (IBS) is pleased to announce scholarships totaling Rs 10 crore for students selected for the class of 2024-2026 based on their performance in the IBSAT Test held on December 23rd and 24th, 2023. These scholarships, awarded in a variety of categories, demonstrate IBS' commitment to promoting academic excellence and accessibility.
