While the GUJCET answer key and result are still awaited, the GUJCET counselling registration has begun on 24th March 2025 on the official website, and the last date to apply is 20th May. The GUJCET counselling process includes simple steps like the counselling registration, uploading the relevant documents, and paying the counselling fees. Once the candidate has registered for the GUJCET counselling they will then appear for the GUJCET counselling, fill the web entry options, and seats will be allotted based on the merits and the preference selected by the students. However, it should be noted that the seat allotment in the preferred college or any other college is subject to availability.

GUJCET 2025 Counselling Process
The GUJCET counselling process involves three basic steps - registration, document upload, and GUJCET counselling fees payment. Let us understand each of these steps in detail in this section.

Step 1: Counselling Registration
The first step in the GUJCET counselling process is to enroll or register for the process. To register candidates must follow the below steps.
- Visit the official website of the ACPC portal - gujacpc.admissions.nic.in
- On the homepage, click on the registration link. A new window will open
- Click on fresh candidate registration, and enter all the details as required
- Once entered, candidates will need to click submit and the registered mobile number and email shall then be verified
- Once verified, the GUJCET counselling registration is considered complete

Step 2: Login and fill application for counselling
The next step after the successful registration is to login using the credentials and the counselling portal will open. Follow the below steps to then fill up the counselling form.
- Visit the GUJCET admissions portal again
- Enter the registration ID and password, along with security PIN to login
- Start filling out the application and enter the required details
- Upload scanned images in accordance with the specifications
- Enter the class 12 details and the GUJCET exam details

Step 3: Pay the GUJCET counselling fees
Once the GUJCET counselling form has been duly filled with all the necessary details, the next step is to pay the counselling fees. The fee of INR 350 (approx.) must be paid online either via net banking, UPI or using a debit/credit card. Once the fee payment is done, candidates are advised to keep a copy of the confirmation page handy till he admission process is completed.
GUJCET Choice Filling and Locking Options
Once the counselling registration is done and the application form has been filled, the candidates need to proceed for the choice filling options. Under this, the candidates fill in their options for their preferred colleges and the branch they wish to pursue in that particular college. The applicants can move or change or edit their choices until the last day of choice filling. However, no requests will be entertained after the choice filling process has ended. The GUJCET choice filling window will be open from June 3 to 5.
Once the choice filling is done, candidates must proceed with the choice locking. To make any changes in the locked choices, candidates can simply click on the ‘unlock choices' option. All this however, must be done within the timeline and before the deadline.

GUJCET Seat Allotment Process
The GUJCET seat allotment process will begin from June 7 onwards. The GUJCET counselling will be conducted in three rounds. The GUJCET seat allotment will follow the below step by step procedure.
- Step 1 - Counselling Registration and Application: The first step in the process is to register for the counselling process for GUJCET and fill in the detailed counselling application form. The registration and application process has been explained in detail above. The following details must be entered:
- Candidate Name
- Father's Name
- Mobile Number
- Email ID
- Personal Details
- Academic Details
- GUJCET exam details/JEE Main details (for B. Tech)
- Step 2 - Release of Merit List: The second step is the release of provisional merit list by ACPC. The merit list is released based on GUJCET or JEE Main marks 2025. The seat allotment is done through the GUJCET merit list.
- Step 3 - Choice filling process: The third step is the choice filling process. Candidates need to login to the admission portal and open the candidate portal to complete this step. The choices can be changed within the set timeline.
- Step 4 - Seat Allotment: The next step is the allotment of seats. The following points must be kept in mind during the seat allotment process:
- The seats are allotted based on the GUJCET or JEE Main marks online.
- Candidates who are satisfied with the allotment can freeze their option by paying the college fees via net banking or any mode of online payment like debit/credit card or UPI.
- candidates who are not satisfied with the seat allotment can participate in the further rounds of counselling.
- Step 5 - Reporting at allotted institute: The fifth and final step is to report to the allotted college by paying the fees and completing the college' admission process. Candidates must produce all required documents like the admission slips, payment receipt/e-challan, information letters, and more.

Documents Required for GUJCET Counselling
The candidates must produce the following documents at the time of GUJCET counselling.
- HSC (10+2) marksheets
- Income certificate (for TFWS candidates)
- SC or ST certificates
- Certificate of Socially and Educationally Backward Class (SEBC)
- Certificate of EWS
- Certificate of In-servicemen candidates
- Ex-servicemen candidate certificate
- Person With Disability Certificate (PwD) certificate
