GATE 2025 Electronics Engineering Syllabus - Section-wise Weightage

The section-wise weightage of the syllabus actually defines the importance of each topic asked in the GATE Question Paper. There are topics which have a considerable number of questions and there are some topics which hardly appear in the question papers. This differentiation can help students understand which topics to pick first and need more time and energy. They can strategize their study plan based on this segregation of topics according to their importance.

In the GATE ECE Exam 15% of the total weightage is given to General Aptitude, 13% to Engineering Mathematics, and 72% to the core Electronics and Communication Engineering topics.
