GATE 2025 Cutoff Overview
IIT Roorkee announced the GATE 2025 Result on the 19th of March on its official website - goaps.iitr.ac.in. The candidates appeared for the GATE exam 2025 held on February 1, 2, 15 & 16 can log in to their official website account to view results.
They must provide their enrollment ID and password to view the result. The exam conducting authority has also made available the GATE 2025 toppers list and the GATE final answer key along with the GATE 2025 result.
The scorecard for GATE 2025 has also been released by IIT Roorkee on 28th of March which is available in the official website - gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Students can download the score card without paying any amount from 28th March 2025 to 31st March 2025.

What is GATE Cutoff?
GATE Exam is a national level entrance exam which is conducted by IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, and Indian Institutes for Science, Bangalore on rotational basis on behalf of National Coordination Board (NCB - GATE), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource & Development (MHRD), Government of India.
To get admission into Master of Technology (MTech) and direct PhD program into Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other institutes/universities across India, candidates are required to get score in this exam.
Difference Between GATE Qualifying Cutoff and Admission Cutoff
GATE qualifying cut-off is the minimum marks that should be achieved in order to qualify for taking the GATE exam, whereas admission cut-off is the minimum mark that is necessary to be eligible for admission at a particular institute (such as IITs, NITs, IIITs, etc.) for M.Tech, MSc, or PhD courses.
GATE Qualifying cutoff is released by the authorities who conduct GATE Exams. While GATE Admission Cutoff is released by the participating institutes (IITs, NITs, IIITs, etc) for the admission process.

GATE 2025 Branch-Wise Qualifying Cutoff (OUT)
The GATE cutoff remains different in each IIT. There are several factors through which the cutoff marks of the GATE exam are determined. GATE 2025 IISc cutoff is now updated at https://iisc.ac.in/admissions/. The candidates who have filled up their application forms for IISc Bangalore MTech admissions can now view the IISc GATE cutoff for all courses. GATE COAP registrations begin from May 17 onwards. Candidates who are applying for MTech in IISc through GATE need to update their COAP ID on or before April 17.

GATE Cutoff for M.Tech Courses at IISc
GATE 2025 Counselling
GATE Eligible candidates possess two options regarding counselling. GATE-qualified students may take up COAP for IIT MTech or CCMT for MTech NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. The eligible candidates need to take up GATE 2025 counselling as per the scheduled plan. GATE-qualified students are also able to secure financial assistance worth 12400 per month by way of GATE counselling.
Counseling Process For GATE COAP 2025
Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) is the shared platform for all the participating institutes to fill all the M.Tech. seats and for the participating PSU's to post their Job offers to the GATE Qualified candidates.
COAP 2025 will consist of 5 main and 5 additional rounds. COAP 2025 Main round counselling will take place from May 2025 to June 2025 in 5 successive rounds. In the main 5 rounds, Candidates will have three options any one option; Accept & Freeze, Retain & Wait and Reject & Wait to choose out of three available options.
Please bear in mind that the 5 subsequent rounds will be conclusive, and hence the candidates will only have Accept and Freeze and Reject options in rounds 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10.
Counseling Process For GATE CCMT 2025
Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. [CCMT] is a single portal for GATE-qualified students to seek admission to NITs, IIITs & other GFTIs. CCMT 2025 Counselling will consist of three regular rounds, two special rounds (SR) & a national spot round (NSR).
