The University of Delhi is popularly known as Delhi University or DU. DU is a public central  university located in New Delhi, India , it was established in 1922 as a teaching , residential University by the Act of Central Legislative Assembly. The president of India is the Visitor , the Vice President is the Chancellor and the Chief Justice of India is the Pro- Chancellor of the University.

Step 4 : Seat Allocation 

The seat allocation is done on the basis of the following criteria: 

  • program - based merit list. 
  • Social Category UR/OBC-NCL/EWS/SC/ST/PwBD
  • Availability of seats. 

Step 5 : Blocking of Seats and Final Admission 

  1. The candidate can accept only one allocated seat. 
  2. Once the candidate accepts the allocated seat, the concerned department /center/ college will approve the seat allotment, checking the eligibility and documentation of the candidate.
  3. Once the approval comes from the concerned department /center/ college the candidate can then pay the admission fee and confirm the admission.
