In India, the average salary for a deputy superintendent of police (DSP) is around ₹1.5 lakh per year. However, this can vary depending on the state and city in which they work. Salary levels may be higher in larger cities and lower in smaller towns. Much of it depends on the level of hostilities
DSPs (DM) earn between ₹53,100 and ₹1,67,800 per month. The DSP Salary is subject to the rules of the 7th pay scale in the following states: Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, MP, Haryana, Maharashtra, Delhi, and Uttarakhand.
