The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has been operating an internship system for students pursuing Undergraduate/Postgraduate degrees or Research Scholars enrolled in recognised universities/institutions in India and overseas. The goal of the internship programme is to expose students to the working culture of the Government of India, as well as to the schemes conducted by this department. Students can choose a term of one, two, or three months according to their needs. All applications will be processed online only.
The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), a division of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, is committed to developing young talent by launching an internship programme for students pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, or research scholar programmes at recognised universities or institutions in India or abroad. This initiative intends to provide students with important exposure to the workings of the Indian government as well as insights into the DPIIT's numerous schemes. The interns would get ₹10,000 per month.
