More Details About the Documents Required for KCET Application

Photograph Requirements:

  • Recent, in color, with a white/light background.
  • Ensure the face is clearly visible without a mask, including ears.
  • No caps, hats, or dark glasses; spectacles are allowed without glare.

Signature Requirements:

  • Black ink on white paper, scanned in running handwriting.
  • Must match the one used during verification and the examination.
  • Capital letters are not permitted.

Caste or Category Certificate:

  • Required for candidates applying under SC/ST/OBC or other reserved categories.
  • Ensure the certificate is valid and issued by a competent authority.

Study Certificate:

  • Mandatory for candidates claiming rural or Kannada medium quotas.
  • Must be issued by the last attended institution.

Income Certificate:

  • Necessary for candidates applying under fee concession schemes.
  • Clearly mention the annual family income and ensure it is issued by a competent authority.

Domicile Proof:

  • Required for candidates applying under the Karnataka state quota.
  • Must be issued by the respective state government authority.

Identity Proof:

  • Aadhaar card is preferred, but other valid ID proofs like a voter ID, passport, or ration card may be accepted.

Parent/Guardian Signature:

  • If required, scanned in black ink on white paper.
  • Must follow the same guidelines as the candidate’s signature.

General Scanning Guidelines:

  • Use at least 200 dpi resolution for clear and legible documents.
  • Crop images to focus only on relevant content.
  • Verify file size, format, and dimensions before uploading
