Delhi University School of Open Learning (DU SOL) provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses that cater to a wide range of academic interests. Delhi University Distance Education (DU SOL) Admission Process 2024
The Delhi University School of Open Learning (DU SOL) Admission 2024 for the academic year 2024-25 is currently underway for all undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses. Interested candidates can submit their applications until July 31, 2024, as stipulated by the University Grants Commission - Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB).
The application must be completed online through the university's admission portal. DU SOL offers various specializations, including a General MBA, an MBA in Business Administration, an Executive MBA, and an MBA in Finance.
Additionally, admissions for programs such as BLISc, MLISc, and PGDADLAM are also open, with a deadline for applications set for July 30, 2024. In addition, the university is currently accepting UG examination forms for the 2nd, 4th, and 6th semesters, as well as for former students.
Delhi University Distance Education (DU SOL) UG Admission 2024
The eligibility criteria for undergraduate courses such as BA, BCom, and BBA-FIA are as follows: a minimum of 40-45% marks from a recognized board in 10+2 (depending on the program). UG courses typically last for three years, and the annual fees vary from INR 7,000 to INR 18,000.
However, UGCF offers many exit options for students to gain Certificates, Diplomas, Honours, Majors, and Minors in any discipline based on their credits.
- Undergraduate Certificate: Complete one year of study with 44 credits in the subject of study/discipline.
- Undergraduate Diploma: Complete two years with 88 credits in the field of study/discipline.
- Bachelor of (Course you study): Exit after three years with 132 credits.
- Honors: Earn honors in a single discipline by graduating with 132 credits after three years.
Students pursuing a four-year Honours degree (176 credits) will receive a Major and Minor upon meeting specific prerequisites.

Delhi University Distance Education (DU SOL) PG Admission 2024
Students have the option to register with a CUET (PG) 2024 score or without a CUET score, based on their marks of graduation. The merit list(s) for admission will be determined by the marks obtained in CUET (PG) 2024. If seats are not filled by CUET (PG) score, the remaining seats will be filled with students who applied based on their graduation marks alone. Admission in both categories will be determined by merit.
Candidate eligibility for postgraduate courses such as MA, MCom, MBA, and MLIS requires a bachelor's degree in a related discipline with at least 50% of the required points. PG courses normally last two years, with annual fees ranging from INR 7,000 to INR 52,000.

DU SOL Placement 2024
The University of Delhi School of Open Learning (SOL) is pleased to announce the creation of a Placement Cell on September 4, 2018, to help SOL graduates find suitable jobs. This initiative aims to link students with employers and help them find jobs. Students can find current employment openings on the Placement Cell's website (https://sol.du.ac.in/placement_cell/).
In September 2023, the Placement Cell organized a recruitment drive for the position of "Sales Executive (CASA)" in collaboration with NIIT Ltd. for Axis Bank Ltd. Approximately 5,000 graduate students were invited via SMS, and over 300 students attended the interviews held at the West Regional Centre in Keshav Puram on September 18, 2023.
During this event, 9 students were selected on the spot, while an additional 48 were chosen for a second round of interviews. The following day, these candidates proceeded to the Axis Bank branch for final interviews, resulting in a total of 16 students being successfully placed and commencing their careers at Axis Bank Ltd.
