CRPF ASI Stenographer Eligibility Criteria

CRPF ASI Stenographer Selection Process
The CRPF ASI Stenographer selection process is a process to test the candidates. Here are the steps:
- Online Application: Apply online within the application window on the CRPF website. During the application process you will have to upload your educational certificates, age proof and category certificates (if applicable).
- Written Examination (Computer Based Test): Shortlisted candidates will appear for a computer based written test. The test will cover General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Reasoning Ability (verbal and non-verbal) and Basic English Comprehension.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): The PET will assess physical endurance and agility through various activities like endurance run (to be completed within a specified time), push-ups (minimum required), sit-ups (minimum required), long jump (minimum required). Meeting the physical standards is mandatory.
- Skill Test (Stenography and Typing): Candidates who qualify in PET will appear for a skill test to evaluate their stenography and typing skills. Stenography test will measure shorthand speed and accuracy in the prescribed language (Hindi/English) and typing test will measure typing speed and accuracy on computer. You must score minimum qualifying marks in both stenography and typing tests.
- Document Verification: Candidates who qualify the skill test will undergo document verification. This will involve verification of original educational certificates, age proof, caste certificates (if applicable) and other relevant documents to confirm their genuineness.
- Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the document verification will appear for a medical examination conducted by CRPF doctor. This will assess overall fitness of the candidates to ensure they are fit for the job.

CRPF ASI Salary Structure

CRPF ASI Post Annual Package
The selected candidates will receive a basic monthly CRPF ASI salary of Rs. 29,200/- to Rs. 92,300/- Level 5 in the pay Matrix. The annual package for the candidates will thus range from Rs.3,50,400/- to Rs.11,07,600/-.
CRPF ASI In-Hand Salary
The candidates will receive the basic CRPF ASI Salary of Rs. 29,200/- according to the pay scale level 5. The selected candidate will receive a maximum salary of Rs. 92,300/- per month along with the grade pay of Rs. 2800/- after gaining the required experience in the CRPF ASI post.
CRPF ASI Salary Slip
Candidates who will get appointed for the CRPF ASI Steno post will receive a Salary Slip at the end of every month.
