Accountancy

Accountancy is the field of recording, assigning, and outlining trade transactions for a business. It assesses management concerning the economy. A few accountancy tasks include recording, classification, and reporting of a transaction. When any information is made as a report for individuals or companies to be used outside the organization, this process is called as ‘financial accounting.’

Business Studies

Business studies is an extensive subject in the social sciences that permits an in-depth study of a degree in specialties. This would include Finance, Accountancy, Marketing, and Organisation.
It provides a student with a substantial foundation and understanding of how a business should be controlled while increasing communication, operation, strategy, and commercial activity skills.

Economics

Economics is seen in different ways. It is the study of shortage. Economics is seen as a study of how people make the best utilization of resources. It assists people in understanding how an individual, firms, and governments make decisions on proclaiming resources to satisfy needs and requirements. It also helps to control how an individual or an organization should organize and arrange with each other to determine the expected outcome.


Informatics Practices
 

Informatics Practices is a subfield of software-related study. The course focuses mostly on software, networking ideas, and coding. This field corresponds to Computer Science but excludes hardware topics. It focuses more on network ideas than computer science.
Mathematics 
Mathematics is a vital aspect of commerce because all economic processes are numerical. With a rudimentary understanding of mathematical principles, an individual or organization can comprehend where they stand financially in the now and in the future. Most businesses utilize mathematics for inventory management, marketing, accounting, financial analysis, and sales forecasting.


Statistics for Economics

Many concepts in economic theory, such as the functional relationship between variables, are expressed in terms of symbols, algebra, calculus, and so on. Economic theories are better understood and examined using proper numbers to investigate a variety of economic and social phenomena. The study of numbers, commonly known as statistics, represents facts in the form of a collection of figures. 
 

No. of Commerce Stream Boards in India
 

There are a total of 4 educational boards in India. It is up to students which board to choose, whichever they find comfortable to opt for. The option is chosen according to the level of degree of difficulty associated with the syllabus. The educational board names are mentioned below:
 

CBSE-Central Board of Secondary Education 
ICSE- Indian Certificate of Secondary Education
IB- International Baccalaureate
State Boards
 

The International Baccalaureate is considered the most difficult educational board listed above. It concentrates on the concept of “How to Learn”. It gives great importance to the ‘knowledge application’ and ‘practical aspects’ of studying.


The ICSE board follows the IB in terms of difficulty. Then comes the well-renowned CBSE board, which is one of India’s most popular boards. The CBSE comes under the Jurisdiction of the Union Government of India. The complexity level of this board is moderate.
In the end, comes the state boards. In India, each state has its board of education. It is regulated by each state’s government.
The medium of this instruction in the case of schools allied to state boards is the regional language of the respective state and English.
