CLAT 2025 Latest Updates: The CLAT 2025 Exam will be held on December 1, 2024. Candidates who have filled out their CLAT 2025 application form can download the CLAT Admit Card 2025 from their official website. Nationality  

  • According to the eligibility criteria for CLAT UG, applicants who are Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), and Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) are eligible to apply for the CLAT Exam in 2025, provided they meet the specified CLAT UG requirements.
  • Foreign nationals are also permitted to apply for CLAT 2025; however, they must possess a valid passport.

LLM Course 

  • In order to fulfill the eligibility requirements for CLAT PG 2025, candidates must have obtained a completed LLB degree (either 5-year integrated or 3-year LLB) from a university that is recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

Minimum Marks in Qualifying Exam

In order to be eligible, candidates should have obtained a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in their qualifying examination (Class 12). However, for candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories, a minimum of 40% marks or an equivalent grade is required to meet the eligibility criteria.

Age Limit 

Admission authorities and universities in India often establish age limits, either upper or lower, for admission to their courses. However, in order to accommodate a larger number of aspiring law students, the Bar Council of India (BCI) has placed a maximum age restriction on admissions to five-year LLB courses. As a result, the CLAT consortium now adheres to the same age criteria for determining CLAT eligibility. 

  • There is no maximum age limit for candidates appearing in the CLAT 2025 exam. Consequently, individuals of any age group are welcome to apply for this law entrance examination.
  • This means that applicants of any age can apply for the law entrance exam.

CLAT 2025 Eligibility for International Students

Candidate who fall under the NRI, NRI sponsored, or Foreign National category and wish to apply for CLAT 2025 should reach out to their respective university authorities. CLAT 2025 Application Form

The official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in has published the application form for CLAT, which can be accessed by the consortium. To register for CLAT 2025, applicants are required to provide their personal information, communication and educational details, as well as indicate their preferred NLU and other relevant factors. Once successfully registered, candidates will be eligible to participate in the CLAT 2025 examination. The application fee for CLAT is Rs. 3500, with a reduced fee of Rs. 3,000 applicable for SC and ST candidates.
