Dinesh Saklani, the director of NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training) assured that according to the new National Education Policy (NEP) Class 10th and 12th board exams are guaranteed to be conducted as planned without any changes. This announcement was made on Tuesday. 

Saklani stated that the exam dates will not be changed or revised, after which all the ongoing confusion has subsided. As per the Odisha TV, the statement made was - “ There is no need for any confusion regarding the board exams, as it is explicitly stated in the policy.” 

Students Do Get A Second Chance

Students taking 5th and 8th class exams are just steps away from starting their secondary school experience. Salanki added that students who perform badly in these exams will be provided a second chance, which shows a flexible environment giving students to perform better and prepare for harder academic levels. He also described the NEP's 5+3+3+4 educational framework in detail. This framework has 2 secondary phases: 9th and 10th class in 1st phase and 12th class in the 2nd phase.

In a three-day National Workshop regarding the NEP 2020 implementation held in Odisha, a presentation focusing on the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) was done by the Union Education Minister strategizing to change the country's educational system.
