Chandigarh University relentlessly produces promising talent as proved by four of its 3rd-year Computer Science Engineering (CSE) students who have secured coveted internship opportunities at leading global tech companies. The internships offer impressive stipends, and demonstrate the commitment of the students as well as the university's focus on hands-on learning and industry connections.
Two third-year students of CSE Batch, David Goyal, and Aryan Aggarwal, have been offered internships at PayPal with a monthly stipend of Rs 1 Lakh each. Another student with outstanding performance- Harleen Kaur has secured an internship with ServiceNow Software Development India Pvt Ltd with a monthly stipend of Rs. 89,000 per month.
The students bagged one of the top-most companies like Amazon among the top-notch companies worldwide; the joining amount will be a salary of ₹1.1 lakh in a month.
Strictly selection-based internships were meant for an ideal blend of strong technical knowledge, strong problem-solving ability, and flexibility at Amazon. Some rounds were lined up where students got put through. Technical interview questions, and a coding challenge or two were there as well. Finally, they need to pose the problem.
"About the internship at PayPal as an opportunity to learn the best in the industry, and apply the knowledge taken in class, David Goyal said, referring to the achievement.
Harleen Kaur said, “ServiceNow has a great work culture and cutting-edge projects in software development. This internship is a big step towards my career goals.”
