CDS stands for Combined Defence Services Examination, a staffing process administered by India's Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The CDS exam is a gateway for aspiring candidates seeking to join the Indian Armed Forces, including the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

Held twice a year, the examination assesses candidates' intelligence, aptitude, and interpersonal skills. CDS's Eligibility Criteria

 

To be eligible for CDS Exam 2024, a candidate must be unattached and must either be:

 

  • a Citizen of India, or
  • a Subject of Bhutan, or
  • a Subject of Nepal, or
  • a Tibetan refugee who came over to India earlier, on the 1st of January 1962, to forever settle in India or
  • A person of Indian origin who has travelled from Pakistan, Burma, and Sri Lanka, besides the East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia, or Vietnam to settle in India permanently... 

CDS Selection Process

 

The eligible applicant will have to look for a three-stage process, which includes a written examination sideways with Viva-Voce and Document verification to be shown by the CDS Recruitment 2024 board based on which collection will be finalized.
