CDS Application Form 2024 Registration Process
Candidates who hold the obligatory CDS 2 2024 Eligibility Criteria must submit the CDS application procedure online at www.upsc.gov.in. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will close the online registration course for the CDS 2 Exam on 04th June 2024. Here are the steps to fill the CDS Application Form:
Step 1: CDS Registration
- Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
- Click on the UPSC CDS application form link, and then go to the registration section.
- Enter details such as name, date of birth, gender, parent’s name, nationality, community, caste, category, and educational qualification.
- Select the NCC category and indicate IMA, NA, AFA, and OTA preferences.
- Review the details that you have entered before proceeding to the next phase.
Step 2: CDS Application Fee Payment
- Pay the CDS application fee amount (reserved categories are exempted).
- Check the payment status and advance to the next phase.
Step 3: Upload Photo, Signature & Photo Identity Card
- Upload the required documents, photos, and signatures in the specified format and size.
- Submit the CDS application form and print a copy for your records.
Step 4: Center Selection
- Log in to the dashboard with your registration number and password.
- Choose the exam center from the list of available cities and submit the details.
CDS 2 Application Fees 2024
The CDS Application Fee is mandatory for all applicants. Candidates must pay an insignificant fee to register themself for the CDS 2 Exam 2024. The fees differ as per the categories of the candidates. They can use their Visa/ MasterCard/ Rupay Credit/ Debit Card, or they can also use Net Finance to pay application fees.
Candidates can also the CDS 2 Application Fees offline through cash deposit in any branch of SBI Bank. The fees, once paid, are non-refundable.
CDS 2 Eligibility Criteria
The CDS 2 Eligibility Criteria is established based on certain important factors related to the CDS Exam. To be eligible to apply online for the CDS 2 2024 assessment for admission to the Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Indian Military Academy, and Indian Air Force Academy, candidates must have completed the required education qualification besides the age limit. Also, as per eligibility, only unmarried male and female candidates who have completed their graduation and are between 19 and 25 years old can apply online for the CDS Joint Defence Service Examination 2024.
