CCMT Counselling 2025

CCMT Counselling stands for Centralized Counselling for M. Tech/M. Arch/M. Plan and it is an online counselling as well as admission process for admission to the M. Tech/M. Arch/M. Plan program offered by the reputed institutions of the country. These institutes include NITs, IEST Shibpur, IIITs, NIFFT Ranchi, School of Planning and Architecture Vijayawada, University of Hyderabad, Central University of Rajasthan, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Punjab Engineering College, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra.

The CCMT 2025 Counselling will be conducted by Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (MNIT Jaipur). In order to appear in CCMT 2025 Counselling, candidates must have appeared in and qualified GATE Exam 2025. Besides, candidates who qualified GATE Exam in the year 2025 and 2024 will also be considered eligible to participate in CCMT 2025 Counselling. Interested candidates must first register themselves for the counselling of CCMT by visiting the official website of it.

CCMT 2025 Counselling Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of CCMT 2025 Counselling only require a valid GATE Scorecard. Candidates with a valid GATE Scorecard will be considered eligible to apply for the counselling process conducted. Below mentioned are the points that candidates must consider while applying for the CCMT 2025 Counselling.

• A valid GATE Scorecard (2023/2024/2025)
• Candidates must have completed their graduation in the relevant field securing the minimum marks required for admission from a recognized university.

Points to Consider

• If the result of candidates' final year is yet to be declared, then they must generate a valid proof of the document covering information till the pre final semester of that year. They must show is to the reporting centre during their document verification round.
• Percentage converted to CGPA or CGPA converted to Percentage will not be considered.
• Certain courses at some of the participating institutions will have their own eligibility criteria defined. Candidates applying for the program must ensure that they fulfil these requirements before filling the choices.

CCMT 2025 Counselling - Opening and Closing Score

Students who appeared in any of the entrance exams conducted for admission to postgraduate programs such as M. Tech, M. Plan, M. CCMT 2025 Counselling Documents Required

Below mentioned are the documents that candidates must bring at the allotted reporting centre:

• Registration form with the choices print out
• Printout of Provisional Seat Allotment letter
• Printout of self-attested copy of GATE Scorecard
• An ID Proof issued by Government of India
• Birth Certificate/Class 10^th Passing Certificate (original and copy)
• Class 12^th Passing Certificate and Marksheet (original and copy)
• Graduation Degree (if graduation completed)
• Marksheet of Every Semester of Graduation
• Caste Certificate (of required)
• PwD Certificate (for disable candidates)
• OBC-NCL/EWS certificates issued on or after April 1, 2020
• Seat Acceptance fee transaction receipt
• Passport Sized Photograph
• Character/Conduct certificate from the last institution
• Transfer Certificate from the last institution

CCMT 2025 Counselling Fee

There are various types of CCMT 2025 Counselling Fees candidates would be required to pay during the process. Candidates can pay the fees to the CCMT Authorities using any of the online payment methods such as Debit Card, Credit Card, net Banking, UPI, or e-challan. CCMT 2025 Counselling Process

There are five stages of CCMT Counselling Process:

Stage 1 – CCMT 2025 Registration, Choice Filling and Locking

• This process is conducted online.
• Register yourself on the CCMT Portal by processing the payment of Registration fee.
• After CCMT Registration, candidates must fill the application form and select their choices of courses and institutes.
• Students can edit these choices till the choice filling date ends.

Stage 2 – CCMT Seat Allotment & Seat Acceptance Fee Deposit

• Based on candidates' choices and merit, they will be allotted a seat. The result will be made available online.
• Candidates must make the payment of INR 30,000 for seat acceptance.
• After the seat acceptance, candidates must take a printout of the allotment letter for showing it at the time of reporting and verification.

Stage 3 – Online CCMT Document Uploading

• The candidate would then be asked to upload his documents for verification. However, the option of document upload would not be available until the seat acceptance fee was paid.
• Candidates have the following options regarding their allotment, which they can exercise once they report to the designated Reporting Centers:
  • Floating: If a candidate wishes to participate in the next round of counselling for seat upgradation, they must request that all of their higher preferred choices be considered in the next round.
  • Sliding scale: if they want to be considered for a higher preference within the allotted institute.
  • Freezing: If the candidate is happy with his results and does not wish to advance.

Stage 4 – CCMT Document Verification

• Documents would be verified online by an officer of the designated institute.
• If there are any errors, doubts, or omissions, the candidate will be contacted.
• If necessary, the candidate would be required to submit supporting documentation.
• Any candidate who fails to do so will be considered Not-Reported. His allotted seat would then be cancelled. These candidates would also be unable to participate in the next round of selection. After successful verification, an Online Document Verification Certificate (ODVC) will be generated.

Stage 5 – Online Admission in the Allotted Institute

• Following verification, the candidate must pay the remaining fees (after deducting the Seat Acceptance Fees) to the institute.
• Candidates who intend to register for special rounds are exempt from paying these fees.

CCMT 2025 Seat Allotment – Tie Breaker Rules

CCMT seat allotment is based on the merit list and the availability of seats based on filled Choices in accordance with Government of India (GoI) Reservation norms. For each round of counselling, a merit list for seat allocations is released. There may be a tie if two or more candidates receive the same score. The following are the tie-breaker rules:

• Candidates with a GATE score of 2024 will be given preference over those with a 2025 scorecard.
• If the year of GATE score is the same, the candidate with higher marks will be given preference (out of 100)
• If the tie remains, the candidates with the highest All India Rank will be given preference (AIR).
• If the tie remains, the candidates with the highest All India Rank will be given preference (AIR).
• If the tie remains, both candidates' dates of birth will be considered. Candidates over the age of 40 will be given preference.
• If the highly unlikely event of the same Date of Birth occurs, rank will be determined using Random number generation.
