The Central Board of Secondary Education issued guidelines for class 10 and 12 practical examinations 2025 on its official website recently. As per the official time table of the CBSE practical examination 2025, winter bound schools conducted practical exams from 5th November 2024 to 5th December 2024 whereas regular schools will conduct practical exams from 1st January, 2025 to 14th February, 2025.
For a smooth conduct of CBSE practical examination for class 10 and 12, the Central Board of Secondary Education has issued new guidelines and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) on its official website for both students and teachers. CBSE Practical Exam 2024-25 | CBSE New Guidelines and SOPs
- All the affiliated schools will be mandated to follow the CBSE new guidelines and SOPs and complete all the tasks within the designated time frame.
- All subject’s practical assignments marks need to be updated in a simultaneous order.
- Schools will not be allowed to make any changes after they have uploaded marks for all the practical examinations.
- Authorities need to make sure that all the practical projects and internal assessment are completed within the designated time.
- The CBSE practical assessment must be organized for regular aspirants on the basis of their capability and proper status.
- Any kind of misbehaviour by students with the examiner may lead the students to be expelled.
- The CBSE board will not provide schools with any kind of practical exam material and schools will have to arrange it by themselves.
- The CBSE board will assign an examiner for each subject to all the affiliated schools.
- The school authorities do not need to arrange any alternate arrangements for external examiners at the school level. Only an appointed examiner will have the authority to conduct the CBSE practical examination for class 10 and 12.
- The CBSE practical examination 2025 will be conducted under the surveillance of an external examiner and an internal examiner. The external examiner will be appointed by the CBSE whereas the internal examiner will be appointed by the school authorities based on a teacher's experience and expertise in all subjects.
- The external examiner will visit the school laboratories one day before the examination and the school principal will be responsible for getting all the laboratories equipped. The school principal needs to make sure that there are all the arrangements for a smooth functioning of subject-wise CBSE practical examination.
