The Bachelor of Physiotherapy programme, which is typically offered as a 4 year bachelor's degree, is divided into 8 semesters and is intended to give students knowledge of the science of physical movement and channelize it to prevent disability and diseases of movement. The classification of a wide range of BPT disciplines in accordance with the concepts of foundation, core, electives, and skills is explained in the following table.

BPT Entrance Exam Syllabus

The BPT entrance test syllabus varies depending on whether a state-level or institute-level entrance exam is being administered. Since BPT is a paramedical-related subject, biology themes make up a sizable percentage of the entrance exam syllabus. Questions in the admission exam are drawn from student's understanding of the four required 10+2 subjects—English, Biology, Chemistry & Physics. 100 questions make up each national, regional, or university entrance exam. All of the questions are of the multiple-choice variety. The conducting authority may alter the final score as they see fit.
