BIHAR SCHOLARSHIP 2024
The Bihar Scholarship is run by the Government of Bihar with the aim to provide financial assistance to students belonging to various segments of society, especially those from low-income levels, disabled students, and female students. The main focus is to motivate students from SC/ST/OBC or EBC categories and to ensure that they can work towards their dreams. This scholarship considers those students who have scored a minimum of 60% to 80% in their previous examination. The amount of financial assistance under the Bihar Scholarship ranges from INR 1 lakh to INR 3 lakh. This scholarship is for those students who pass the matriculation exam for which they can apply online. Candidates will only be able to avail this scholarship if they meet all the eligibility criteria and submit the required documents.
How to apply for Bihar Scholarships 2024
· Visit the official website at medhasoft.bih.nic.in.
· On the portal, information related to the scholarship is given. Click on “Inter 2024 Scholarship Only”.
· Click on the “Students click here to apply” for the specific scholarship link.
· Accept all terms and conditions and click on proceed.
· Fill out the application form by filling out the essential details and documents.
· Upload the photograph along with the signature.
· Finally click on submit to complete the application form.
· Login ID will pop up on your screen. Save it and return to the home page.
· Login with the required registration number.
· Upload the required documents and click on submit.
· Then download and print the application form.

- Family Income Certificate

- Date of birth as per 10th certificate

- The applicant must be a resident of Bihar
- The applicant must have passed 12th grade with First, second, or third division.
Eligibility Criteria for Bihar Scholarship 2024
To apply for the Bihar scholarship, a candidate must fulfill the eligibility criteria. Some common requirements are :
· Residency- The candidate must be a resident of Bihar.
· Enrollment- A candidate must be enrolled in some course from a recognized institution.
·University Recognition- The institution from which the candidate is pursuing the course must be either state recognized or centrally recognized.
· Category- The candidate must belong to the SC/ST/OBC category to apply for this scholarship.
· Special Category- Candidates dealing with any kind of disability can also apply.
Who can apply for this scholarship
· Candidates who are at the post-matriculation level which means students from class 11th to graduation can apply for the scholarship.
· Candidate must have cleared the previous year's examination.
· The candidate’s family’s annual income should be below INR 1,50,000.
· Candidate should not be receiving any financial assistance/stipend/scholarship from State Govt./ Central Govt. under any other scheme.
